look at the facts StanleyP. this is why the markets are down today. this data is what you would expect if we are heading into a recession.

technicals for oil are a bit mixed. it could head lower. WTI touched $109 don't rule out a $10 drop from here. doesn't bother me much because I have a hedge. oil drops then inflation expectations go lower so stocks get a rise. look how the S&P is rising as oil pulls back from 109 WTI.

first time i've seen silver under $20 its not been that low for over a year. no wonder FRES was down today.

maybe it wasn't the RNS cause for the afternoon drop. looking at the daily chart for Tullow Oil that started to drop at 2pm. exactly the same the HBR's RNS landed. I bought more HBR at 3pm. there was a bounce at that time (for Tullow) before later dropping.
