I will do an email to the company as to my feelings and the feeling of many others, but I cannot guarantee that they will reply, From experience I can tell you we need to get a shareholder like Slater to back us then we might see changes

It appears to me that the board of Jubilee are concerned about the citizens of Zambia with which I certainly agree. While I believe that the options now granted will make little difference to the future of the company which I believe is extremely bright, I believe management has erred badly by granting options, while the poor shareholders who have waited decades for a dividend have been ignored. Can management not see that the options stink at this stage before the company has made meaningful profits.Shareholders are the life blood of the company and the options are just another mismanagement of the company.Pity as I believe Leon has done a great job with everything but the share price.

I have e-mailed the company to ask for an explanation. Options must be agreed to by the share holders who in fact are the owners of the company. If the directors have in fact issued options without shareholders knowledge and consent it would explain the low share price and must be discussed at a share holders meeting

If the directors have issued shares to themselves at 1p I will be extremely disappointed.I agree with some of the posts on this board it is time to look after the share holders.As I cannot get to an AGM see that we get an explanation we can live with. I have never heard of share options being given below the share price.

1 Jubilee has become one of the biggest and cheapest producers of chrome in the WORLD and certainly the the cheapest producer of PGM'S in the WORLD

THAT in Zambia

2 Jubilee should become one of the biggest producers and certainly the the cheapest producer of copper in the WORLD all this in an industry that is cleaning up an environment problem.

What is there not to like.

I for one am going to stop worrying about a share price that certainly does not take take into account future growth of a company that is a leader in it's industry.

Hi Gotreal. I agree fully with you that it is difficult to estimate copper production over the next 3 years because of so many moving parts BUT I am sure that Leon has laid out a timetable of what they expect to do in Zambia for the expected future production.Of course I understand that things can go wrong so I would be expect a conservative estimate.

Just putting a time table of expected production would I believe put a stop to free falling share price

Exactly ! I did ask in one of my questions that especially for copper if he could perhaps give us time lines of expected copper production for the next three years .

If he could I believe that might help the share price to stabilize

Evidence of what statement? Of course not! I am as puzzled as Leon as to why shareholders are selling> maybe he knows why an institution would be selling

Hi Mickie ,Seis Dru, Gotreal, Jlpp Northern and all long term share holders.

Yes I am a bit disappointed.

Not with the progress to date-I know how long it takes to build a company in the mining sector.

My disappointment is with highly paid directors who have to date shown no attempt to reduce salaries until the more meaningful profits are made .I have no problem with paying directors a large salary if profits warrant those salaries.

My experience taught me that while building Merafe neither Terry McConnachie(the CEO) and I took a salary which was only adjusted when we started making meaningful profits.I believe that gesture was appreciated by the shareholders and is a gesture that the board could make. It would help to show their belief that a great company is being built.

Jlp Maybe the price of copper over $10000 per ton and the recovery of Pgm's with platinum approaching $1000 dollars is helping

The original agreement announcement was clear

If the J/V goes ahead (and it looks like it will) Jubilee receives a refund of all costs incurred from IRH .

While Jubilee will have only a 30% interest in all profits the J/V is responsible for all costs so Jubilee will receive both a refund of costs and in addition 30% of all profits.IRH are responsible for the $50 million Capex.

As I see it , 30% of the profits is a GOOD deal

In my opinion most private investors lose money on share trading by following the herd. At that moment the herd is exiting Jubilee just when they have a decent opportunity to buy into a company where growth is 99% likely,when copper has reached $9800 per ton where the chrome price is still strong, and Pgm'S are recovering.

Looking at the JSE and LSE I have never seen so many sellers. I believe we only have to endure another 6 months of pain before investors pile into the share. For all to see I am a supreme optimist.

I can add copper nearly $9500 .Also first in a new industry also good relations with both governments in the countries Jubilee operates in.

I don't understand how anyone can now post anything that is bearish

Instead of us worrying about timelines which we know are being missed,should we not focus on bull points which are progress being made,platinum nearly $1000 and copper well in excess of $9000.

Time lines are being missed does not impact the progress being made

Don't get too excited . 5p at current exchange rates equates to R1.17 so South Africa was catching up from sinking prices yesterday.
