1.5 million in bank but 0.9 million loan = 600 k in cash then!
This board of directors should be ashamed of what they have not achieved!

If you clink on the EQT Fundamentals tan (above) the EQT balance sheet shows at 31st Dec 21 Non C. Assets at approximately 30 million and C.Assets as 10 million approx with Total liabilities around 7 million - but remember that was Dec 21. Quite a bit of positive news since.

It’s just not evident how the board of directors have been living up to their core responsibilities of protecting and working for the shareholders best interests here?

Profitability on the horizon for a new owner with a cash cushion and the ability to take out other costs such as directors salaries etc - but it does not now seem likely this present experienced board of directors can get EVE to profitability from the way they have managed things thus far!
As well as cash in the bank there should be outside Trade Receivables owed plus the value of the current stock holdings.

I think you could be on to something Vern - but unless this board of directors halt the unaffordable spending they seem determined to continue .......
Im March presentation we had been advised of a 1.6 million spend planed for all of 2022 and they would retain 3 million in cash reserves!

3 million less in the bank D-G —- In only 6 months. Cash mismanagement I think!

... Has EVE had to increase stock purchases by 1 million pounds so they could send this additional stock to DFS ( note EVEs best partner in terms of sales) as the additional bed frame range just been extended at DFS?
Is there any monies presently owed to EVE by DFS or any other parties? Has DFS also now got 0.9 million of debt?
Why were cost cutting measures not implemented immediately? This board should now hold a presentation to explain and justify itself to shareholders. There is likely to be a sell off by private investors this morning!

Had this ‘experienced’ board not let shareholders down - where is the CFO Tim Parfitt management of cash reserves responsibility evident. From 8.3 to now 1.5 million of cash in the bank - surely funds have not be satisfactorily managed by the board of directors?
The current state of EVEs finances is a disgrace!

Cash in bank on 30th June now at 1.5 million. Was 4.5 million at start of year.
Where has all the cash gone?

‘Lucky’ - I and possibly a few others bought in here a few years ago after the retraction of the EVE world domination speedy expansion which had far too high costs associated with it at the time. So EVE was to concentrate on its home markets of UK, Ireland and France after it had cut back on all the costs and rebuild the business back up - so with these cost cutting and rebuild strategies it seemed only a matter of time before EVE sleep was surely to be a sustainable profitable business under CC ( and who hinted at same). So EVE sleep seemed a safe haven at around 6p a share!
Since then and despite very positive spin from the board - the SP is around 1p and the future of the business as being able to operate as a going concern has not been made clear!
Extremely disappointing that EVEs future can be considered be some as possibly lucky!
Has this board of experienced directors let us down or is indeed their strategic plan a great one and 10p plus a share is possible?
Lots of unknowns - but I can say the way the EVE board has handled communications and the way they have spent cash reserves has been a stressful shareholder experience!

.... so with DFS from today stocking 3 further EVE bed frames I think the actual business can be considered to be in a better place than yesterday:)

Will you hold longer than today Wyn? Not many trades at all today; all pretty quiet.
Perhaps tomorrow there could be news!
