If I am correct Vern ( and other recent posters here) only bought in recently at theses historical lows? So you chaps should probably do ok or at least break even. Obviously the shares at these prices were on the backs of wiser shareholders than I and could see the spin given by the board of directors as not completely trust worthy! I had high hopes here from what was said by board and the ‘ promises’ they kept making.
Quite a few here stand to have big losses indeed. On the latest RNS some on my friends sold at massive losses as opposed to risking losing everything. It will be a long recovery process as some more invested in different shares.
Looking at the EVE website they seem to now be selling out or reducing a lot of nor core items! I wonder is this to accommodate DFS who may actually only be interested in the mattresses and Bedframes and would have no use for staff ( is this part of the 30% overhead reduction mentioned as recent Steve Davies presentation said EVE had 40 people) not use for EVE premises ( but a lease liability here) nor board of directors. Only hope if DFS are interested that the tax benefit from all EVE previous losses would have some value?
But what do I know. Believed passionately here on what EVE put out only to find this is the position at latest RNS!!

With potential 1.5 million in bank end of June ( so take 250k or so off that now) and if they have indeed drawn 900k bank loan —- there may not be enough money to reach Q4?
Note Paul Pindar invested 1 million ( not 10 million) in last share raise by buying 10 million shares at 10p each.

Yes definitely makes the bulletin board horrible when individuals are singled out and verbally insulted.
Let’s just all try and get on. Yes some of us under stress due to how much we invested at much higher SP than today - and now with very little possibility of being able to hold out shares for a year or two to see things improve but will most probably be forced to sell at whatever bid is put to us, if indeed one is, as this may just fold up!
Very stressful times for longer term loyal shareholders.

So yes the SP is down at the moment but we were at 2.75p not so long ago and since then there have been quite a few more good RNS’s all indicating a lot of potential.
Just need to get some of the many projects further along the construction route.

Yes Yanis, I thought it wise to average up be selling a few in case the worst happens. But alas I still have a very significant holding here and think between myself and a few friends we are in that trench with you. I believe D-G is in a similar position too!

When I ( and a few friends) invested here I believed in the concept of good sleep for all also the new experienced board ( who promised in one of the RNS they were restructuring the previous costs etc and promised profitability ( more than once). A not very exciting bed company with claimed 50% plus gross profit per item - it seemed a no brainier this would be a safe stock with an experienced board of directors where one could trust to safeguard ones investment. This company with CC as the head of operations has decimated people’s savings where this should have been a safe business!

But with the nearly 5O% discounts on offer and now more than 50% on baby items it ( plus no fresh CBD oils or Morphee - out of stock for weeks now) EVE just selling to get rid of non cor mattresses stock. And making virtually no money on the sales they do. Plus I Wonder if the 30% reduction in costs is deliberate or accidental due to the fact staff leaving ( on Steve Davies video he quoted a workforce of 40 people) previous CC said 5O EVE were 50 people ( and TP reviews mention live chat had not been working for weeks) - so is this the 30% reduction - staff abandoning EVE?

Shareholders should have sacked the entire EVE board at the 4.5 million cash in bank announcement ( if not before).
But we, are now, are where we are!

Still think we have been led a Merry Dance Yanis, by the board of directors. They should all be ashamed but I except they are just of the opinion ‘ it’s just business’.
Definitely not how money should be managed!

Hopefully your right Yanis but on checking the 2021 year end balance sheet EVE showing 0.44 million as borrowings on 31st Dec 21!

As a long term 2+ years I can’t help think CC and Co have mislead, mislead, mislead, shareholders! No longer trustworthy.

I said even cash in bank was 8.3 million and EVE have begun showing 300k in July and August 2021 to let the cash build up. But CC and the board used up shareholders money ( not their own) by continual spending and of course staff perks of free breakfast and drinkies and extra holidays and free mattresses to employees - an utopia of a work place and also going after advertising accolades - utterly disgusted with CC and the board to their reckless spending and ‘ it’s only business’ attitude!
This is peoples hard earned money invested in here!

I’m absolutely disgusted at how the board of directors have spun the wording of their spin this past 2 years and how they have taken the cash at the bank from 8.5 million to 1.5 million with a 0.9 million loan to!

By selling some I just increased my average SP but didn’t want to risk it all going to pot; QED!
