Shaun i should have added that the test had to be within 72 hours of arrival in the country. That was difficult enough to arrange and i had to change the day of my flight to make it manageable. I cannot see that there would ever be a test that would include a return trip. But then I do not know that there is a requirement on anyone to have a negative test to get into the UK.

lol the test was in Cobham . I live in West London. it was easier for driving and parking!

Shaun. I am going to Greece. So I know i have to quarantine when I get back. I do not know of any requirement to have a test before i come back, at the present time.

Shaun will have it already - it was with Wren Healthcare, in Cobham in Surrey. The Versalab sign was up too. It cost me £170 for an outcome in 24 hours with a certificate for travel.

i had a Versalab test today for travel on Wednesday. the nurse confirmed that it was Primerdesign. I told her i had shares in the company and she called me 'Boss'!!!!

unfortunately, i think this was discussed before and it was concluded that it was a re-reporting of the previous contract. Explanations were given then about the different dates, but i did not fully follow them.

Holiday travel. Surely, it will not a a standard that the airline imposes that will count, it will be the standard that the receiving country requires. Currently, countries seem to favour pcr tests.

However, let us remember it was not long ago that we needed vaccinations to go to some countries. Or of course, maybe I am older than other people here.

But, i am not sure it is a policy that will survive, as is appears still to be possible to shed the virus even when vaccinated.
