But perhaps the markets are more realistic about LIEbour's need to quickly get on course with raising actual revenue, ie NS taxes generated, rather than some silly ideological anti-oil and gas nonsense.

Yes, how amazing that an insider was able to divert less than 10% of what he's earned in a couple months here into buying shares in the company. Clearly fully aligned with shareholders now, lol! Reminds me of a rather similar situation in an Ozzie mining co. where the CEO would regularly do a placing for a few 100k (mostly to pay his own salary) but always made sure to take 5k worth of shares in the placing, just to show that he was fully shareholder aligned! Tragically, as I've always said, the biggest risk to Arc shareholders is not that Anglo fail to find large amounts of copper, but that it appears the leaders here will funnel most of the money into their own pockets (it certainly seems clear that all of the Anglo cash which was apparently such a great deal, won't even cover the salaries for NVS and his merry men during the coming years, all whilst they have nothing to do, since apparently Anglo are doing all the heavy lifting.) Some LSE boards are rather amusing, somewhat akin to watching a gathering of turkeys voting for Christmas.

A junior resource company should be deploying its capital within the portfolio of licences, not buying back its own shares. The only circumstance where I would want to see that would be if GMET has proven up their assets, are planning to flog the company, their share price is significantly undervalued and they have too much cash sitting on the balance sheet. In such circumstances, it would make a lot of sense for GMET to buyback their own shares. Anything else is just misallocation of capital since I trust the management to deliver a better return onmy shareholder cash than I could myself by investing in other companies- if that were not the case I would have sold my shares and bought shares in a company where I did believe in the management. Both GMET's and POW's management have my confidence to deliver great returns.

People forget that PJ's model was to insulate the company shareholders by building value - obviously that is of no interest to traders, but since he owned about 10% of the company and was in it for the long haul, he wanted assets with value on the balance sheet. He picked excellent employees (ie Oliver at GMET was originally an employee at POW sent out to run GMET) and bought great assets (ie Pilot Mountain, Garfield and Golcondor at GMET, Hemlo at FCM, all of the Athabasca Uranium licences which are now being JVed). And he took less in salary than my ex who is a village primary school deputy headteacher! From my perspective, PJ was an ideal CEO, and we've had to pay many multiples of that salary to his successor just for continuing the business which PJ established and built up.

If POW remains undervalued for much longer, and if GMET release some dramatic news with their core results, then it will be cheaper to invest in GMET for the long term simply by buying POW shares for their 50% holding.

PuseRuse, FCM is at all time lows! Why would you wish you'd put more in there? (I can understand why you'd wish you had more cash now to add to FCM at these lows, if you believe in the company, but why would you wish to have invested earlier in FCM at a higher price?! What price do you wish you'd paid in the past for more FCM - 10p? 15p? 8p? 5p?) Personally, I wish I'd invested more in GMET - gone up from my 10pish average to 26p! THAT is where I'd be going in a magic time machine if I could go back in time and make different investments.

Newuncle, if you want to see another AIM robbery taking place, you can else enjoy Arc Minerals - a BOD who cream off every pound which comes in for themselves in salaries - placing, pay salaries, JV payments from partner, pay salaries, regular as clockwork. But still there are some there who also think they are going to be made rich, just like here with Eurasia - one born every minute, sadly.

You're joking, I hope? If you read the accounts, you'll see that every penny *and more* of the Anglo funds coming to Arc will be going straight into the pockets of the directors - and on top of that there will likely also need to be a raise to just keep paying NVS and his friends on the board! As I said before, the danger to Arc shareholders is not that AAL don't find any copper, but the greed of the leadership here who will take every penny they can of shareholders' wealth.

I would be tempted to let them dilute us by not funding any further Stonepark drilling this season if funds are low - the market is completely failing to attribute any value to the Stonepark holding, so it would be madness to dilute down at these lows for participate. Our current share of Stonepark is worth many multiples of the current mkt cap, so just let them dilute us.

With your vast intellect, you appear to have missed the salient point - that events which have occured "usually" in the UK are presumably events from the past, ie they have happened previously. Don't get too het up about it though, old girl, just invest in a better dictionary next time. Or perhaps ask mummy to check over your work before you press the "Post Message" button in future.

They have a habit, in that group, of banning people for questioning anything about the way the company is run. I would not object to that so much, but they then tell lies that the individuals have chosen to leave the group, when several screenshots from various friends and co-investors prove that they've actually been banned by the FCM Telegram admin.

As you rightly point out, the UK has previously resisted socialism - but that was the past, and this is now. And the problems today are very different to the problems of the past: we've expanded the don't-work-won't-work class reliant on State (ie taxpayer) largesse; we have crony capitalism which privatizes profits and nationalizes losses; we've imported well over a million Drs-Engineers-Scientists and the like on their little boats who no doubt only need state handouts whilst they get their foreign medical licences recognized by the BMA; and it appears from the anti-Semitic demonstrations all throughout London and the rUK that we've "educated" millions of terrorist-supporters who condone the rape and murder of thousands of innocent people in their own country whilst peacefully minding their own business.

In short, these are those "interesting times" which the traditional Chinese curse wishes on the unfortunate.

Given the state of the markets, it is a great opportunity to load up on more before people really catch on. A copper porphyry would be worth hundreds of millions in a sale to a major - and just look at BHP's bid for Anglo, these majors are crying out for copper!

I have huge amounts of sympathy for JOG's shareholders who are seeing the shareprice decline regularly, it's even worse when I know that some of my most capable and intelligent AIM-investing friends did tremendous amounts of research into JOG, weighted the risks intelligently and reasonably, and decided to invest their hard earned into it. Sadly, even on the best days in AIM, "There's no law that says rational analysis will win out". I've no hesitation in believing that the LIEbour cret1ns would willingly destroy the NS (my apologies to all cret1ns, as I realise that lumping you in together with His Majesty's current Loyal Opposition does you a major disservice) but if you'd asked me a couple of years ago if a Tory gvmt would've introduced punitive windfall taxes in order to give handouts to life's failures and thereby significantly reducing the nation's energy security, I'd frankly have laughed in your face. But it appears that we are entering the final stages of the collapse of democracy before our return to bondage, where the masses clamour for more and more giveaways from the taxpayer, and now both political parties are competing to see who can hand out the most cash in order to buy the most votes.

But I'm wandering off the subject here - for the longest time, I believed Neo would say yes at FID, and indeed if they do the rewards to JOG shareholders will be considerable. But since we know that Neo is up for sale, and no sale announcement has been made yet, it makes me think that this current pathetic excuse for a gvmt has finally had a success during their time in power: they've succeeded in making the NS an undesirable location to risk capital searching for, and extracting, oil and gas. It does seem odd to me -even with my low opinion of NVS and his merry men- that Arc is down here with Anglo ready to run the drills. Anyone else suspect that there is something going on behind the scenes which will be bad for current shareholders? Are you, perhaps, looking at another discounted placing to provide more money for keeping NVS and his gang in six figure salaries for delivering the square-root of f*** all? Expectation of another placing here would certainly explain why the shares haven't returned to the 1.8-1.9p range since the mishandled suspension and RNS.
