I don't really agree about a JV, I would like to see the assets proved and then sold off the back of a DFS. There should be a healthy appetite in America for a large Tungsten project given the China ban and their constant warmongering.

They must see substantial upside here to take an extra 2% of the company at no discount and with no warrants. It varies from fund to fund, but they normally want to see 5-10x their money within 5 years with small cap investments.

Did I miss an announcement about money from the American government?? I thought we were all looking at pretty powerpoint presentations saying Q4 2024 for Pilot mountain funding from the Americans? Does Q4 not end on 31st December?

Although in the interests of accuracy (something which I know all LIEbour voters care about deeply) I think it is more a case of "Rachel from the Customer Service Call centre"! Certainly "Rachel the Economist" is a figment of Kweir's imagination. Although as was pointed out recently in Parliarment by She-who-left-school-with-more-illegitimate-kids-than-GCSEs truth doesn't really matter, Kweir's only interested in whether "Rachel from accounts" is the best person to manage the Treasury (My guess: he meant the best person from his front bench, and leaving aside the fact that it's more a case of the least bad rather than best, in that case, when setting the bar so low it's actually plausible that she is indeed the "Cream of the Cr4p" on the front bench.)

Great that they've done this deal.

The company's now fully cashed up to do lots of drilling and/or buy other distressed assets. They've could've bought more than half of FCM (and replaced their loser management team, imv) and still had cash left over.

Great assets, great cash position, 100% owned.

Simple really Nick - the management seem to be more focused on getting all that Anglo cash into their own pockets than working for the benefit of shareholders; mark my words there'll then need to be a raise to do any actual work on the Botswana licences (which were only brought in as a make-work opportunity so that the bod could continue paying themselves their ridiculously high salaries - they are all pretty much redundant for Zambia since, as the rampers tell us constantly, Anglo are a top class firm and they are doing all the work!)

NVS couldn't give a rat's a55 about Arc shareholders, he's too busy lining his pockets with the cash from Anglo, so much so that a raise is probably needed to actually advance any of the Botswana assets. He and Marc Sale at FCM are two of the most disgraceful LSE directors.

Keep at it, 7671, its about time investors started holding company leadership accountable for their dismal performance. First Class was a great prospect when POW set it up but its been a constant disaster under the leadership (I use the term loosely) of this Sale character who seems to lack any commercial nouse whatsoever.

The first thing which should've been done is cut salaries. But now they've recruited the head of 79th Group to the chairman, whilst the current chairman moves to an executive director role, so the wage bill has actually gone up. Not bad if you're 79th Group - get half the co at all time low prices and install your boss as chairman drawing back no doubt a few 100k each year in salary of the two million you've just used to dilute existing shareholders to death.

No wonder AiM is dead, I certainly will be moving my dosh away from these mismanaged lifestyle companies.

Indeed! And look how bad things have become for KAV shareholders, also multiyear lows. One could but hope that the Power holding will prevent them from doing something this stupid, so unless they vote against it I guess everyone has to be happy that the idiot Sale has sold half the company for 1.7p. Have you figured out why you are always championing this incompetent management team which sold our gold assets for shares in an African fraud? Or which did a placing at multiyear lows to keep paying themselves for their underachievement? And which constantly lies about updates and news-rich periods? And then sends clowns like Charles Archer out to talk up the "amazing prospects" without mentioning that they will need further funding to do anything, since all the Anglo cash is basically earmarked to go into the directors' pockets over the coming years?

I used to think Arc Minerals was the worst managed company on the aim, but now without a doubt it is these clowns at FCM who've just sold 50% of the co to a bunch of wanna be junior mining investors (with absolutely no beneficial technical expertise to contribute as a benefit of their ownership, unlike if we'd done a deal with an actual mining company). And right before the end of the year making it clear that they truly deserve the Worst AiM Leadership 2025 Award.

That's a laugh, isn't it? Nothing to be disappointed about with the business development - you mean other than the fact that ever penny which comes in the door from Anglo gets shoveled into the pockets of the directors, and that's beyond the placing they did at multi-year lows to continue paying themselves 300k a year! Oh, no, absolutely nothing to be disappointed with business development here!!!!

I think this is a disgrace, frankly, and will be looking to get out of FCM asap at break even. This is just about keeping the gravy train going for the idiot Sale to milk for salary and "consulting" fees. Absolute disgrace.

I enjoyed the post I saw about shock and awe based on Marcc Sale's ridiculously high remuneration (once factoring in his "consulting" fees.) Agreed with every word, Marc Sale along with a number of other AIM CEOs has delivered absolutely nothing of value for his shareholders and been significantly overpaid and over expensed for the privilege.
