Well let's see what they actually do with the money, shall we? I don't doubt that there are some great bargains to be had, but I would anticipate the grant funding to come quite soon, likely in this quarter, at which point Gmet's shares will be worth much more. So the question can be answered once the Gmet grant funding comes and we see the value of Gmet cashed up with likely tens of millions of dollars in grant money. At that point we can ask: Has POW delivered more value with the cash from its share sale than it could have done by just sitting on the Gmet shares. I doubt they will have done better with the cash myself, but that's only because I don't rate the current POW leadership very highly.

Not the smartest of moves by Power Metal, these shares will likely be worth multiples of the sale price once the grant funding is announced.

Now now, Peggy - I'm sure NVS can deliver a ten bagger on the current share price (of course, it would require a 20:1 consolidation, but that wouldn't stop such a shyster from presenting it as a massive success!)

They do say that populations get the governments they deserve, and frankly when I look at most of central Mogadishu, ooops I meant London, I do wonder if the majority of Brits haven't actually got the government they deserve in the form of 2TierKweir. First past the post can take some of the blame, but the fact that a third of the people who voted were stupid enough to vote for LIEbour is still a pretty damning indictment of the level of Britain's collective intelligence.

As far as it relates to JOG, I'm still very afraid that 2TierKweir and Call Centre Rachel are sufficiently arrogant that they will double down on their Dumb&Dumber policies. I'd love to be wrong, for JOG's sake - it's certainly not pleasant to witness the decimation of an entrepreneurial exploration company which finds itself as the potential blood sacrifice on the altar of LIEbour green policy.

Sol, I disagree completely about buybacks - they work well in theory, but I have never seen them feed through into the share price on AIM. My approach to POW is that it will ultimately be sold off, probably in pieces, and that we will see the value delivered to us as each part is sold off. The longer the undervaluation continues, the better for those who are looking to accumulate. It may well be the case that once GMET gets taken over and POW get a lot of cash from the sale (it would've been a lot more if they hadn't sold off such a huge part of their holding on the cheap - I do really hope they have a plan to put all that cash to use, instead of some silly notion that this would "prove the business model". Anyone who has been even half away the last few years will be fully aware of the business model.)

I agree with you, Sol, I too am extremely disappointed in the current POW management.

At this point, it's much cheaper to buy POW for GMET exposure - get GMET at a discount, and all of POW's projects completely free.

It's good to see the plans laid out to get this to 200k pcm in profit. But I would absolutely prefer to use the debt facility to fund the Fouke drilling than any further dilution. It would also be good to see them utilize the debt facility to accelerate the infill drilling to bring in further profits. 8% money is pretty cheap in this game, so I think we should use it to finance at least the Fouke drill and perhaps 1/2 infills asap - get those barrels into the market and the profits into the bank, then pay down the loan aggressively for the rest of 2025 whilst conducting a new CPR.

This needs something to ignite the share price. It has just stagnated under Sean Wade's leadership. It's all a bit sad really. If it wasn't for the Gmet holding who knows how low this would be now. I am eager to see the accounts and learn what we have been paying out in salaries to see how that stacks up with what we have been delivered as share holders.

It's also destructive dilution for all current shareholders. But don't let that stop you from giving it a good ramp. The time to buy this will be after the dilution once the new lower share price has been established. I do not see a reason why this would trade for more than the new cash balance once done. When looking at the listing and the rise to about 15p not so long back those poor people are unlikely to ever see their money back.

From looking at the trades, it looks as though this was a fat fingered transposition error for the 3m share trade in the early afternoon which originally went through at 0.392 and was then reversed and corrected to 0.329

Thanks too for recognizing that, CM - there's all too much polarization on this website with a friend/enemy attitude towards all posts by a small group of people. Fortunately the NTOG board doesn't seem anything like as bad as a few of the others (particularly in junior mining and exploration companies).

I've no doubt that your suggestion is a much more realistic commercial approach, but I just don't want the dilution as it's so permanent, I'd rather wait and grow organically if we couldn't borrow at 8-10% interest (but with PW as the CEO, I suspect he has enough contact with people who've seen his success in the past that he could get a loan.) As I bought most of mine under 0.03p I'm not worried about losing money, I just want us to retain as much upside as possible as this is a longer term hold for me to build something with a few thousda boepd in production.

I would much rather borrow the money from a local East Texas bank even at a 3-5% premium to Treasury rates, and avoid the dilution.

I liked his comment about the antimony USA business which went from 80m to 1.3b in a short time because of the antimony ban. Something similar to that at Gmet would be lovely.

That was absolutely no criticism of the man, simply pointing out to you the fact that he's not an experienced mining executive. If GMET goes to production I fail to see how OF fits into that picture unless he's going to assume a Chairman role and hire an experienced CEO with a track record in extraction. I repeat this is no criticism of the man.
