Makeabundle - I really can't quite fathom how you think you are in any position to come on here throwing around insults about people's intelligence, when you yourself are a shareholder in a company which has 41m missing, only has assets in Russia, has tried for 5? 6? years to sell them without a single sale dollar appearing, and have seen the shares rise all the way from 40p+ to........1p! Yes, I would strongly suggest that you and I are not in the same intellectual league, dear sir (and I couldn't be more thankful for that.) I prefer investments which rise in value by 95% rather than returning me 5p on every £1; that's hardly the way to make a bundle, is it, makeabundle?! Good luck, sir, you're probably going to need it.

Thanks, Imp2, I probably will buy - but years of investing on AIM has shown me that in a bad market even the best companies' shares tend to pull back a bit after a good news rise. (Plus I will have significantly more funds available after a short term deposit matures early next week.)

One thing that really bothers me with the junior mining space is that I've never seen such a long, drawn out rout in the London markets, and somewhere in my theoretical brain I know that a recovery WILL come, but I've felt that for so many months (close to a year now) that it is starting to feel as though perhaps this time it's different and it won't happen. (In which case, I don't know what that means: that the world suddenly doesn't need the industrial metals which are going to be massively under supplied in the event of anything like a small fraction of the green energy agenda being implimented! Seems unlikely!)

Rather regret not pulling the trigger when I had the chance last week for a few hundred thousand of these at 9.5p - if it drops below 10p again in the coming weeks, I think I will definitely move some cash here. As a "Son of POW" company, it is certainly showing that PJ knew what he was doing when he acquired these licences and assets and spun them out into GMET. I suspect there is a lot more sp appreciation to come for holders here in the coming months and years (assuming it doesn't get taken out with a golden bullet by a US mining company before it can deliver its full potential, but that would presumably be at multiples of the current sp, so a case of win-win_not_as_big_as_you've_been_nice!)

Yes, and don't forget, that the Russian state tried for years to overcharge EUA on their taxes, which EUA had to spend ages fighting in court to win agreement that they should only pay the lower level of taxation! That's how "very good relations" are between EUA and "the Russian state"!

Seisnav you don't seem to understand that there are two questions here for potential investors:

1. Is there Cu in great quantities in the ground which Anglo will find (I personally would say it is more than likely a yes than a no, so that's good)

2. Is the current BoD capable of delivering that value to Arc shareholders?

Before you answer question 2, perhaps reflect on

i. the outstanding job they did of selling the Gold licences for a shares in Tingo, a company which is now suspended because of fraud allegations (which any half-decent DD completed by Arc would've revealed.)

ii. the high salaries they continue to pay themselves even when cash was extremely low

iii. all of the defered costs which now need to be paid out of Arc's relatively small cash payment from the JV payment schedule (since investment banks, lawyers, advisors and accountants do NOT work for free!)

I suspect Arc is in a very bad cash position these days, hasn't revealed any great drill results from the KCB, and the JV hasn't released a single drill result yet. None of it points to a bright future for Arc shareholders.

BUT you can console yourselves safe in the knowledge that Anglo's interests will be very well protected by their army of lawyers and managers - anyone who really wants exposure to what is probably in the Zambia licence areas should buy Anglo shares; for now, Arc shares are still vastly overpriced in my view.

Frazerjohn, and how will you feel if it turns out that Benitz handed himself a six figure bonus for "achieving" the farm outs (which he's already been paid 350k a year to do as well as easy stock options) and used say a quarter of his net bonus to buy a few more shares? I am frankly sick of seeing the salaries at JOG rise constantly, easy options issued and then bonuses needing to be paid TO DO THE WORK THEY'VE BEEN PAID TO DO! It's getting ridiculous, one of the reasons I've decided to get out of JOG in the coming days.

What has happened to the 41m they raised, and have never said how it was spent???

LMAO Stretchy, I guess you must REALLY enjoy losing 95% of the value of your investment! It's really interesting to have had zero results delivered to the market yet from the drilling, which we were supposed to believe was 24 hours a day, even through the Yuletide season! By my calculations they should've come out in the Pacific Ocean around Hawaii some days ago if the supposed drill routines were accurate.

Of course, the alternative is that the rampers really knew absolutely nothing and were talking out of a certain bodily orifice. Hard to believe, I know!

Why don't you have a look at a chart of the last few years here - you'll see the share price has collapsed by over 95%! Yes, it needs to more than 20x for people to get back to the levels at which they didn't sell several years ago. But, hey, as you say, the negheads have egg on their faces!!! hahaha

You seem to know a bit about the subject, Einbert - I would personally prefer it if we could get YOU elected as CEO! I always felt that when Benitz let Ron Lansdell go we lost the cream and kept the skimmed milk! Assuming RL doesn't want to come out of retirement to run the company, could we get you to forsake your career on the forecourt pumps and head up JOG?! :)

My biggest worry is that they buy a whole bunch of expensive late life assets in the NS just to justify their salaries continuing. From my perspective, cut the admin expenses to the bone asap, hang up the for sale sign, and let's all get £4/share and be done with it. The political risk is just too unpredictable and too high now, since the TINOs donned their Robin Hood masks; the good Lord only knows what LIEbour will do when they get in this year - I imagine that they'll probably put up the tax to 85-90% - after all, according to Kwier, there's gonna be no shortage of oil and gas since they're not going to cancel any existing licences! (He's either completely disingenuous in his comments, or simply too stupid to be PM - not that that ever seems to have protected the electorate from boneheads, just look at Sushi.)

TNK, of COURSE it's a parody account, no idiot in their right mind who invests on any exchange, certainly not AIM, would EVER seriously say that it's nothing to do with shareholders how much cash a company has on hand, that would simply be utter stupidity.

I'll gladly make a bet with you, Mr Wolf: I bet £100 Eurasia sells for less than 5p/share IF it sells at all, with the caveat that the share price is based on the current shares in issue. (My suspicion is that in the coming six months we will see nothing sold, no concentrate and no assets, and that there is either a big placing to get money to keep the lights on, or more likely it simply goes into administration/bankrupt.)

A much more relevant question is: Why would any seriously interested party still be discussing/negotiating after this many years? Clearly they're not very interested in buying EUA. Probably just Potanin having played EUA by keeping them tied up in negotiations for years and keeping their PGMs off the market, to avoid depressing the Pd/Pt prices.

The market is concerned about Arc's leadership delivering any value to Arc shareholders, hence the shares are down 2/3rds from their highs.
