RE: MOU 3 Testing8 Sep 2024 11:57
Salut MunnieTorx, not sure when KeithOz could see down to a 30m resolution over MOU3, but both he & NickNorth are my primary educators on the Copernicus satellite site function since last year & where we all have been very regularly watching the pads, so their opinions are of the highest standing.
I first saw that the 6/9 pass was uploaded around 17.45 & quickly realized the MOU3 site was only visible "to me" at a 300m or worse resolution, in False color (the best image). MOU 1,2 & 4 and all the other sites of interest were all available down to the normal 30m resolution, as was moisture & SWIR. Waited about 30 mins in case the site was still processing the image, then first posted on subject. Quickly noticed a "grey rectangle zone" over MOU3, that only disappeared when I zoomed out to 300m res. I could scroll around its edges & even measure it, at 3km X 2 km at 100m res, hence the "paid for blocked out" comment. Later posted how others could try to see it too & next day even measured the "gray boxes" at 30m & 50m resolutions.
For info, my new computer & high speed internet in France was fully off overnight & the "gray box" was still present on boot up the next day & regardless of whether I used the Copernicus browser, "anonymously" or "logged in" to my account there.
Maybe its worth noting, the "gray box" lasted very close to 24hrs.
So I stand by all my posts on this subject, I can not fully explain why this happened, but doubt Copernicus blocked only me on MOU2 & not on MOU1 2 & 4, etc.
Lets see what we see next week & on the next Sat pass.
