I’m just not sure charts are any good with this right now. It looks as simple as it being beaten down by some big sells. Another 375k delayed after market reported sell from the morning. Hard for the SP to be positive with all this. But for those who are positive long term (me), this could be a great opportunity to load up.

Adw, yes, also fair point. Will be interesting to see where the SP goes from here in the immediate term. MATD do now have half decent revenue that should support a market cap around this level.

Soco drilled a total of 27 wells, mostly appraisal wells. Their 350 bopd was from 2 wells, exactly like MATD.

To confirm, it was not a good deal. $93m with the bulk of that payable only after 27.8m barrels had been produced. I’m not sure why he’s talking about inflation. It’s ultimately on the price of oil, which coincidentally was broadly the same as what it is now.

Soco went for a total of $80 ish IIRC. But more importantly, the bulk of that payment was only payable once millions of barrels had been recovered. It was a terrible deal and not one you would want for MATD.
