Just some monster trades (for an AIM stock) going through. I can't believe these are all just regular PI's. Sure, there's the odd Cev here and there who bang through big orders, but I'm betting there's something more going on here. Possible accumulation...

Looks like a 1m buy. the 5m is right on the mid price, so perhaps a switch between accounts.

I'll be amazed if they touch Gazelle. It's been plugged up for years and IMO was a diversionary tactic only to mention that.

Then you're in the wrong place. You need to be looking at Shell or Exxon. Or maybe government bonds for "beyond reasonable doubt"! But you'll only get 4% pa. Risk/reward... look it up!

On the oil, that's never been the issue. The issue has been horrific bureaucracy and corruption. Sadly, IMO, they're just not going to allow MATD to succeed.

Up over 100% in under a month. I'll take it continuing to trade in a narrow band all day long!!

If you’re someone buying MATD, I reckon even £50m wouldn’t be enough. £4m per well, we know the success rate is not 100%, as we’ve seen from H2. Then you live got so many commitments. It needs someone with very deep pockets. Only the Chinese would be able to, and we’re also seeing what they’re like to deal with.

They’re very different beasts. GMET is a bit of a one trick pony, arguably a binary bet and a lot of hope/expectation now priced in. And as a POW holder I really do hope this comes good in a big way!

But I’ve gone the POW route because it has many different projects and stakes in companies, and is trading at a huge discount to its NAV. Its holding in GMET is worth pretty well as much as its entire market cap. I guess it’s a bit more diversified and “cheaper”.

But if GMET hits the motherload and gets US government support, the sky is the limit.

Fingers crossed for both companies.

I think the last few have been in March, so it’s overdue. I’ll certainly be attending if at all possible. Would be nice to catch up with some fellow POW holders if anyone else usually attends.

Manx, you’re one of the few good ones, so I hope it works out for you. But I have to disagree that it was an amazing day!

RPT is clearly a multi ID poster, and I reckon whoever controls these accounts is just having some fun at legitimate investors expense.

The reality is we are way off where the company themselves expected us to be. We are way down on expected production numbers. And the SP is around all time lows after the recent round of RNS’s.

I know some investors here who are very good people so do want to see this succeed. But personally, I’m glad I’m out. The bulk of my shares sold around the 1.65p level, it’s already saved me from losing more.

Goodness me, Investor33 doesn’t get it at all.

They’ve had to slam the price down to entice investors to buy in, because the risk/(lack of reward) has changed.

We must be due the AGM, so one to challenge Sean and the team on then. It'll likely be in the UK, so no excuses not to attend.
