The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
With what the board and emplyees have thrown into the company. Lets see what this does for the share today, as highlighted the 25th is just around the corner, hopefully another wall knocked down and a bit more cleared of the path to this share becoming fruitful for all the long term shareholders.
PB I believe the only one who knows whats going on is the man himself Art, all the rest is only ones belief and pure speculation, however I do believe also there are one or two investors on here who are very close to the truth without actually knowing it.
I cant see the price dropping much further than it has done already, MM's will do there very best to keep the price around the figure it is just now as per the previous days trading where the price didnt move much even with the huge amount of buys compared to sells.
I agree the dispute will take weeks rather than days to sort out, once done so personnel will likely buy in.
Rift "All companies are looking to farm in there currently" is a very strong comment to be made, I know of a few drilling campaigns going to start around Africa very soon who are still on the look out for farm in companies, Chariot for example.
GD66 my own thoughts are that we wont hear much this year I really hope I am wrong however, Art has came out on several occasions previously highlighting drilling going to happen etc.only for nothing to happen apart from him holding out his hand looking for further cash to burn with the expected placing. As highlighted peviously I am just going to sit on what I have until positive news is received and actions are actually seen to be happening.
The salaries would be chicken feed had they been producing oil and covering the expensive personnel in the office.
Having worked in oil & gas for nearly two decades, I understand the running costs of a company & personnel requirments when the company doesnt have contracts etc.
My thoughts are that the outlay could of and should of been reduced until they were ramping up prior to the drilling to start, the same as most cost concious companies do.
