.40p would be a nice rise from here. SRES standing out today in my see of red - only riser out of 15 shares. It's up enough to cancel out losses elsewhere happily. GLA DJF

Nitrokev, it's your call either way. I'm hoping a few don't take it up as there may be extras to go round for those of us that will. I think the price action the day of anf the day after the window closed tell a story. Many expected the the price to drop dramatically. It didn't and held up well. There will be plenty looking to make a quick profit on the day the new shares are tradable which will drop the price but institutions and pension funds will pick these up and I fully expect to see a decent rise in the short to medium term. I'm buying to hold. Each to their own though.

I expect very few shareholders will fail to take up their 7 for 8 but I will apply for 25% more which I don't expect to get. We will see. Interactive investor have yet to provide the Corporate Action for this. IG did already on Friday.

pat, close - framboise is raspberry! It does feel like a coiled spring and hopefully will get to £3-4. Another interesting week ahead I think.

PantherPat, I find it difficult to assess a good target price now the debt issue is resolved. I have a lump on leverage for which I have a tentative 200 target but think the main holding is a long-term hold. Will be interesting what the brokers come up with in the weeks ahead. It's looking very positive.

Freddie, I was also in ShareCentre. Sometimes wish I still was as I've had a difficult start with ii. I have found them quite responsive when I've communicated (via their secure messaging) and they have resolved a long-standing problem I had. I expect we'll see something Monday. If not, I'll chase again.

I took a loss elsewhere to be able to take the full offer plus 25% if there's any left. Never expected to see a profit eaither considering my first buy was at 1181 in 2017.

RockyRider, you have to pay for share offer at 85p / share. You should get communication from your broker explaining the options. Nothing to stop you selling your current shares and using funds to buy the offer (with some leftover. At 85p it's a steal.

I think today's price action tells it's own story. Expectations of an big drop at open only partially happened and now a steady climb all day with any sells easily finding willing buyers in for the long-term gains. Released enough funds here to buy my allocation plus 25% although doubt I'll get much of that. It's been a rocky ride and I'm sure there are going to be bumps ahead but the future looks brights for Kier and it's shareholders. GLA

PantherPat, agree 100%. Taking the full offer will bring my average below 120 and soon a profit. This is a medium to long term winner and not letting anything go this side of 200. GLA

Anyone looking to short this is asking to be squeezed until they pop. Kier is on the up. Debt was the millstone that has been lifted.

Baker's Gold Project, Western Australia

Further to its announcement of 29th April 2021, the Company is pleased to advise that it has now completed the scheduled drill programme at its Baker's Gold Project in Western Australia.

All five of the planned drill holes were successfully completed on schedule and to their designated depths. Assay results are expected in approximately 6 weeks-time.

Opti were releasing RNS very regularly announcing new deals and virtually everytime resulted in a small spike and then a drop. I assume there was a decision to discontinue using RNS for the announcement of deals. A bit of a case of damned if you do, damned if you don't with Twitter. I remain cautiously optimistic but equally disappointed.
