looks like a couple twists and turns but believe it’s all coming to a head...

Next is WSG...

Trust DHC will approve of this link...
You’re a funny bloke... article was from this morning so posted this morning... considering it could happen any day you would think you would like to keep informed of latest developments.
I know how much and for how long I’ve been invested in WSG... believe it or not, we’re not all like you that only posts to suit their agenda...
Some even suggest its 200%... you have to laugh at the extent they will go to not pay any increase...

Not sure either but a few complaining...

Looks like they're mostly complaining that they started without any notice... funny how we found out and they never!
Some unrest is expected but will soon blow over... my only concern is if it's appropriate for WSG to announce the contract straight away or if they decide to wait a while for it to cool down.
Some videos around showing the strikes and not many people involved.

MPS GOES GREEN
Meridian Ports Services Limited (MPS) continues its commitment to protecting the environment. Two years ago, MPS has embarked on a tree planting exercise along the Tema Beach Road towards the site for the Tema Port Expansion Project.
Th excursive was named PLANTING THE WAY TO THE NEW PORT FACILITY and the main objective of the exercise was to contribute to the sustainability of the environment and beautify the environment. Back then, The CEO of MPS, Mohamed Samara, announced that this initiative is to plant 400 coconut seedlings (one tree by each employee).
Now that MPS has relocated to the new Terminal 3, this initiative was repeated to ; again hundreds of staff members of MPS and its main contractors CHEC, EIFFAGE as well as fisher folks from Sakumono joined the exercise on Saturday 16th November and again on 30th of November 2019 to plant the total of 500 new trees.
Apart from sustaining life, Mr. Samara informed the younger generation of staff at MPS that 27 years ago the Sakumono Beach Road looked like a place from heaven with cocoanut trees lining up the beach. “Despite the painful fact that the global warming and coastline erosion have wiped off the coconuts trees 2 decades ago, we are determined today to restore the heavenly scene so our children and the next generations can enjoy the beauty that we have seen.” Mr. Samara said.
The Chairman of MPS, Dr Edmund Osei Tutu Prempeh, said MPS believes in the sustainability of life and plating a tree is one of the best ways to preserve life. Dr. Prempeh shared his experience of planting tens of thousands of various species of trees and he encouraged every member of the staff to name the tree after himself and tell his family about it. “Grow, Grow, Grow, in the name of the Lord” prayed Dr. Prempeh as he was planting his tree.
The MPS staff celebrated the occasion which coincided with the partial opening of the third new berth and the arrival of the largest vessel ever to enter Ghanaian waters.

Wouldn't surprise me if it had something to do with our JV friends at Hazar international "and their impressive Chairman, Sheikh Salman Bin Mohammed Bin Khalid Bin Hethlain (i'm sure Novice posted something about him at the time)" who "are a strong and influential partners".

Looks like things are progressing well at Westminster Arabia considering our new appointment led a team at the end of October "reviewing security at one of Saudi’s leading ports"

Can only hope above has something to do with the Tender that expired on the 11th of November to "Provide Industrial Security Services In Jeddah Islamic Port"
The tender has now disappeared from https://www.globaltenders.com/tenders-saudi-arabia/saudi-arabia-security-services-tenders.php

More than Tema happening in the background...
A bit misleading but what Jimzi is been trying to say but being ignored is that we’ve got paid for the tech contract as per the conditions of the LC.
If most of the money raised in July was to facilitate the tech contract you would assume that now that the tech contract has been delivered and paid for (as per LC terms) that the money would now be sitting back in WSG’s account (along with any profit).
It’s hard to believe it’s being ignored, money in the bank and money coming in from Tema totally change the landscape here in regards to the quarterly compulsory raise!
Hope you used the opportunity to get him to confirm the tech contract was delivered on time.
Might be one of the reasons he’s not concerned on the current share price! Money they raised in July back in the bank with some profit on top...
