I don’t know enough about the company to pass comment other than I assume they are not close to development. Although strategically positioned for European supply in the long term, depending of BFS, FEED and Financing.

I don’t think you are seeing traders, this is stake building and industry sentiment driven by Tesla’s battery presentation and a realization that industry will require significant investment to keep up with future demand. This is by comparison to a period of depressed prices and uncertainty around extraction of lithium from clay. I believe BCN and LAC have done a great job of demonstrating a breakthrough, and that costs will continue to fall over a period of time as large EV companies continue to make strategic investments.

It’s not beyond the realms of possibility for the fossil fuel industries to start diversifying into these sectors to, watch this space.

For the last 2 days I have listened to non stop content about lithium and the respective companies within the sector. Listening to top industry experts and getting a better idea of sector sentiment and future/immediate investment requirement.

Without going on a massive rant, I have concluded amongst other things that it is plausible or expect a dual listing on the Nasdaq to attain a more reasonable valuation in comparison to its peers such as Lithium America’s and in turn raise the equity portion of the financing required for construction.

My opinion of course. If you can find the time then their is so much content to get through, it’s going to help create a critical analysis of how confirmation of the engineering report and financing will be a significant catalyst to Rerate this stock, far beyond the current market cap.

Interim report

Pilot plant re-opened to supply test materials to support FEED testwork after Covid-related restrictions were lifted in Sonora, Mexico. All the required bulk samples were sent to the Company's relevant partners for optimisation into the final designs.

-- Post period end, GRES completed its concentrator design work and Ganfeng completed its flow sheet design testwork for the production of battery-grade lithium from samples provided by the pilot plant; Ganfeng is now integrating these results into a larger scale design, and remains on schedule to deliver its final engineering packages at the end of Q4 2020.

Integration of results into larger scale design shows that they have proven the process. This is happening and the share price reflects that. A lot has changed in terms of sentiment towards the industry over the last few weeks, for political and corporate reasons.

It’s a STRONG BUY for me.

The proof of concept will rerate BCN exponentially. Backed up with a $47m in the bank and a massive endorsement by ganfeng. At 99.9% lithium purity proved via the pilot plant, game is on.

Piedmont Lithium Ltd

Has done a deal with Tesla, is within similar proximity to Tesla Giga factory and has a market cap of £220m following a 600% increase in a matter of weeks.

Now we know our stage one development has 100% off take at 3.5/5k production. This leaves significant spare capacity with further development possible. What’s stopping Tesla making a strategic investment that increases production and further increases production capacity with a new offtake arrangement?

A market cap of £75m for a 250 year mine life 99.9% purity and the ability to expanding the resource within such close strategic proximity to the key players is laughable.

Across the pond, and are likely to continue in the same vein. It puts the market cap of Bcn into perspective. I am expecting a major long term breakout to come here with ATH. We are at the business end of proceedings after all.

Now take into consideration the two companies and the respective history of market cap performance and key catalysts that sent SNG to its current market cap of 5/6 times Fab’s. For me, to look at Twist Bio and SNG and striking a balance between the two is a great way to consider the path forward to shareholder returns for FAB.

Market is slow to wake up, but this will rise, mark my words.
