Hi all,
I k now this a bit off topic but tried to day trade today for the first time on halifax and fell foul of their negotiated button being at bottom of first page on mobile. All I was trying to do was go to the amend/cancel buttons I know come up from the desktop site, but the negotiated dealbuttom whilst scrolling the page. This goes straight to the deal being done rather than the normal cross platform of are you sure question that Microsoft, unix
, apple, amazonand every other site I know of asks you before committing pence and not the thousands of pounds we all do on these site's. Complained but hot a rather uncaring not a problem response. So asking those who do use Halifax and those that might. Do you think committing yourself to a financial decision should be the default of any financial institution please either complain yourselves or get back to me
it cost me thousands and may cost you if you don't take extreme care on your share dealing site.

Depending on the price that each market finnished the previous day we can be in front or behind them percentage wise and it seems to remain reasonably constant throughout the day. today we seem to be lagging by about 10%.

Sorry C7 the sells are mine . Despite my trying to keep the faith after 9 years in this share and despite an average of 34p meaning I take a substantial loss, I need the dosh. Keep the faith and i'll pop in now and then to see how you all are.
DM
Numbers rounded but your pretty much correct. I sold 91k worth as I needed it to provide a very basic pension for me and the wife. being the dutiful husband that I am and to stop her doing me in my sleep. Kept enough in all our accounts to get a decent vote. So loss Increased slightly but needed to show our disgust in action. We have all spoken to CF socially at the principal hotel york where he stated he was thankful for our support And stated that he was fully invested in supporting the myriad of PIs invested in the company. So feel fully justified in my actions.
DM
Hi all. I've just posted my voting slips and voted NO. I have been in since 2008 and recommended this to the misses and daughter as a long term dividend producer for all our pensions so wasn't overly concerned when production slipped from 2018 to 2024. Being in for 1.8 million at an average of 17p we thought we would all have a comfortable retirement whilst investing in a green UK company with £2 Billion exports for the tax man and 1000s of jobs in an area that needed them. If we were Interested in just the money we could have cashed in at 42p in 2016 and living the high life but wanted to support Sirius and gave extra cash when they required it. What to we get for over 12 years of support to CF and co. A 260k loss, our dreams shattered and faith in the company trashed.
Since I have to face my daughter and wife every day and see the hurt in their eyes I had to vote No. The company doesn't care about us so why should we care about them.
I really do wish you all well but had to vote with my conscience.
DM
I'm with you. You stated it perfectly . Was in for 1.8 million at 16 p average lost 250k (pension, daughters mortgage and any good stuff over next 30 years) but if a concrete finance proposal came about I would reinvest as I have lost my dreams but can still make dreams happen in Yorkshire.
ah the best for the future
