Clearly you have not done any research into this Company. Lincoln Crestal was drilled last year as part of a 3 well drilling programme on Lincoln and Warwick in partnership with Spirit Energy The deal with Spirit gave them 50% in return for them funding 100% last years drilling and 50/50 for this years intended drilling.
You would do well to spend some time on HUR's site and read through the last 2 years Corporate Presentations

I too would have preferred to see him remain on the board but I suspect that those who did the pushing wanted him out, fearing that if he remained on the board his influence would create a degree of control.

I was not castigating the institutions. If they decide to sell that is their choice and we have to accept it. Moaning is pointless as was all the whingeing about CA. My point is that there will be a good number of new holders who have bought in at below 12p who will be quite content a quick profit.

This is what I have always thought but in light of Pelham's sale it has made me think that other II's made have downsized their holdings and we don't know how many new shareholders there are who could be persuaded to accept along with nervous long-term holders would be prepared to recover some of their losses and walk away.

If a hostile bid succeeded RT would walk away and I very much suspect many of his team would go with him. Apart from the matter of shareholder acceptance the other questions are 1) Are there any potential bidders who have the expertise to develop FB without RT and his team?

and 2) What would a bidder have to offer to gain an acceptance recommendation from the board?

Don't knock it. Buyers are needed if the sp is to rise and you can't choose your fellow shareholders.

Although addressed to you the questions are really ones that I would like to have answers from the Company. I just think about all the institutions that bought in at the fund raise and how those of them that remain view the current sp which seems to be at the mercy of itinerant day traders. Are there still sufficient holding to resist the low ball offer or has there been enough churn to lead to a shareholder majority that would be content to accept a sub 32p offer.

You know as well as I that RT's primary concern is the acquisition of data. I was rather surprised when, in the recent announcement they said they only had 5months data from nearly 12 months production. "Why?" would have been a good question to ask at the AGM. 6 production will be ramped up but I suspect only when RT is happy with his data. Other good questions would be why were the ESP not commissioned and when do they expect to revisit 7z if only for a test. This is from the RNS "This has led to a decision to shut-in the 205/21a-7Z well for the time being and return to a period of testing maximum sustainable rates from just the 205/21a-6 well. "

I would like to see HUR publish replies to the questions they have answered so that all shareholders can be made aware or the replies rather than just the questioners. Come on Ben we know you read these boards.
