Yes you are quite correct regarding the date of the RNS, however the 6 well test continued through to the end on January and it was on that, perhaps tenuous basis that my reply to the question was made. As to our resident pedant I have no idea who you mean!

I don't know if it was a lack of thought or just total uncertainty but in the RNS they said 7z has been shut in "for the time being". It would have been better if they could have added some indication of time scale as to when 7z will be revisited. It must be screamingly obvious to the board that the market wants to know what is happening.

They should have about 450k on board by the weekend which is the average size for and offload, but I wouldn't be surprised if they gave it another week in the hope of an improving oil price.

If you read the RNS issued last December, 13th to be precise HUR advised on the then testing of the 6 well.

"The 6 Well is currently flowing individually at approximately 14,700 barrels of oil per day with minimal water cut. In a prior individual well test, the 7Z Well flowed at approximately 9,400 barrels of oil per day with a stable water cut within a range of between 25-30%. These rates were achieved on natural flow. In both cases, the bottom hole pressure showed minimal decline following an initial stabilisation period, giving management confidence in the long-term productivity of these wells and the Lancaster field. The productivity performance of each well on an individual basis is in excess of the Company's pre-start-up expectations. _______
Production will continue from the 6 Well on a standalone basis until late January"

The 6 well flowed at 14.7k bopd for 7 weeks, and remember that last years average production was 15.5k bopd.
