Same here, researched, checked and double checked and still got my entry wrong (a lot higher than yours!). The business model is sound, to a degree they have an economic moat (in terms of their recovery market), but the divergence into mining was a big mistake.........the sooner a JV is sorted the better, then hopefully back to where it belongs (yep Jan 10p+). Hang in, stick it in the bottom drawer..............and cross everything, look out for black cats, ladders and mirrors. DD

Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to not only reply but provide lots of supporting data, very impressive is an under statement (My notes are scrawled on bits of paper!). Think it was from Stockopedia small cap review where the weak balance sheet was highlighted, this planted the seed of doubt. Ironic really as the more you learn and understand, the more research you do, the more likely it is that there are crosses in the box rather than ticks, which whilst can generate more confidence, the reverse is also true..............ignorance is bliss! - but can lead to a rapidly emptying trading account!. I have learnt so much from the generosity of people like yourself on here who are always willing to help and answer my questions. Did apply the NT metrics you use when I first started to invest but now feel I need to understand more in terms of the fundamentals and what key stats to look for, again thanks to posters on here (Libero/Shan/Chequemate) I started to also apply the ZP (mixed with NT) which at least focuses on quite a smallish number of key metrics (which I can just about handle!). As yet have discovered there aren't a lot of small caps that tick all the boxes....Plus as yet I have not made the next step and invested in those I have researched using ZP. Have about half dozen small caps now added to my watchlist (previously focused on FTSE250 after some disasters on AIM) and all I need now is for all the prices to drop about 20% for Me to have a nice low entry point lol. What would be good entry here?. Once again many thanks.......no advice taken!, although reassured now that I'm on the right track. Good luck. DD

First post on here, been watching these for a while and all the fundamentals look very good........but, I am slightly concerned about their negative working capital, as per interims -£36m, whilst it may be the norm for this sector, it is putting me off. Any words of reassurance much appreciated? DD

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Have read Naked Trader and as you say it's easy to read and understand. Have applied some of RB's metrics but now mixing it with Jim Laters ZP. Have trawled thro small cap, fledgling and Aim100 but there are only a handful of shares so far that tick all the boxes.......at least it's a start!. Good luck. DD

No expert but wouldn't a 27% drop since it's high in March, plus going well below 200EMA since April and MACD -45, constitute a definite, not slight, downward trend, LOL. DD

Too right, just made me smile when I checked the price at close of play. Still can't quite understand why the trading update didn't mention dividend policy and no funding required, Aaah well. GL DD

Thanks will do. FWIW - I feel RBN is still undervalued, from the finals the PBT was only 8.8 times mk cap, PE 10 & PEG only 0.2. Plus any one off increase to bottom line by land/property sale/s. Just my take on things. DD

Being careful applies to every single investment IMV. However, agree that with the operational gearing AHT has and it's cyclical nature, that once it starts to drop.......ooouch!, similarly though the same applies in the opposite direction......but then it's wow (assuming your in and not shorting). Not a TA expert but admit it seems to be unable to make its mind up at the moment, up or down, which seems to be the case for a lot of momentum/growth stocks at the moment, all of which have dropped 10%-20% since April. Mr Putin hasn't helped, amongst other things. Support is 847-850 so lets hope next week it decides with conviction it's intended direction (upwards please! no ramp intended lol). GL DD
