Evening Mike- On the 19th July 2012 petards were awarded a contract for £8,000,000 which states for a new client with most of the contract falling in the year ending 2014.and to be completed by the end of 2017. Any idea who the client was?It was mentioned in the interim on the 13th September 2012 but again they did not name the client only that it was a new one. Siemens is reportedly planning to bid on a range of upcoming railway projects in Mexico,despite missing the recent tender for a high speed passenger train project in the country. According to Siemens Mexico infrastructure and cities executive vice-president Markus Mildner, one of the projects could be a passenger train linking Mexico City and Toluca. In 2013, the Mexican Goverment announced its plans to tender three train projects worth a combined 7.18 billion, Including the Mexico City-Querettaro line. The company had opted out of the tender for the Mexico City-Queretaro high speed passenger rail project, which only received one bid from a Chinese consortium. Minder was quoted as saying "the disappointment is the time that was given for the tender "there are a lot more projects coming "We will keep on bidding" According to media reports, leading train manufacturers, including Bombardier and Siemens had shown interest in the project earlier but did not submit proposals. However, Mexico's Transport and Communications ministry has not yet confirmed the Chinese consortium as the preferred bidder for the project. the announcement is expected in November of this year. The officials said that the tender process may start again if the venture does not satisfy the requirements

Extract from half yearly report dated the 30th Sep 2013 " Another alternative which might be considered is that of forming strategic alliances with financially stronger partners. However, this would be done with some reluctance at this stage of the Company's development such moves would be unlikely to achieve underlying value the director's believe exists and should accrue to Petard's shareholders" Has that time changed now we are trading profitably?

With various holdings in the company over the past few months it does make you wonder what is going on in the background. There have been (if you are led to believe the figures on AIM ) been about 55 sells and 3 buys in the past month. The last three months have been the worst of the year for trades. How can that be when we have posted a profit from a previous loss. I do not see anything done to promote the company to new investors. We need these in the company and by keeping dumb that is not going to improve. Up to date news every now and again would certainly help. They did mention something about acquisitions in one of the RNS's a year ago but who knows!

Thoroughly agree with your comments but I do not think things will change.I think a lot of private investors are going to leave AIM for good as I cannot see too many people in profit at the moment. I would assume most investors have some of the most popular shares on AIm in their portfolio and have taken a hit for one reason or another, some in a big way. A shame because we need as many investors as possible for a healthy market

If anyone purchasing a share on AIM had to keep the share for a minimum of 4 weeks before they could sell it,It might stop the peaks and troughs and make a more stable market to trade in. Any thoughts? I sent an e mail requesting a monthly news letter, needless to say i got no answer!!

If you back the horses at least you know what you are going to win or lose, you never know on AIM. The odds are not much difference

With the bubble burst on a lot of the favourite and popular AIM companies I would like to think a bit more will be invested here once we get anymore news than we had before. I agree a bit more news would be appreciated and would make a nice Christmas present with a couple of nice juicy contracts to come our way.They said that they hope to close out on a few contracts on the last up date and it was about time this year that we got them.

I think the absence of any postings in the past five days speaks for itself. We need some news!!

50,000 @11.32 trade on ISDX Just been quoted 11.02 to sell and 11.60 to buy so could be a buy or sell as it is more or less in the middle

In 2006 we supplied the states with CCTV for a casino and other projects totaling $2 Million. We then opened up an office in Baltimore on Aug 2007. Is this an area where we should have had more success as the potential for business is huge considering its size. As the American's are so security minded we should be one of the leading companies out there should we not. Las Vegas casino's could be very lucrative for Petards

I think all investors are in the same boat. With so much red everywhere else there is not going to be much reinvestment on any aim shares until we see an up turn in the market. I would invest more here but at the moment you don't know what the bottom line will be.
