Hard to gauge when window would be slammed shut. Anyone have view for bid deadline ? With advisors hired to fight off bid, should be imminent or by end summer IMO. Or not at all ...

Yanks seem to think UK on cusp of mortgage/bad debt disaster. Obsessed with idea that about a third of mortgages need to be renegotiated in next few years and with rising interest rates, many people will be unable to meet necessary criteria, have to sell, falling property prices, rising bad debts et al. Time too buy NWG IMO
