Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Looking at the weekend articles in Mail about Marc Allera's future strategy, was interested to see that BT consumer services to be rebranded as EE as of this week. More surprisingly, that EE is to take on Curry's and Amazon as supplier of consumer electrical goods, that EE is to become a one-stop shop encompassing multiple subscriptions into one. I'm no Queen but is this reality ? Or is this just fantasy ? Does BT/EE really stand a chance of achieving this ?
Would have expected the BOD of any company where minority shareholder announces that they are considering a public offering to have something to say about it, but not a peep. Maybe, like me, they see no point in commenting on grounds the replacement government expected in new year is unlikely to promote wider share ownership, so chances of a public share sale are literally zero.
I'm a NWG shareholder, get me out of here. Wonder what Nigel will say about this tonight ...
Someone looking to sue NWG for 5.2m share options after resigning due to major faux pas. No doubt will want newly uncapped bonus paid as well as thankyou from board for resigning and taking the heat ...
Son of Tanfield ?
Car manufacturing not place to be during tough times, warfare, spiking commodity prices but this drop looks suspiciously overdone. Bad news somewhere ? Or time to buy ?
Bankers bonus cap scrapped so UK banks can attract top talent. Certainly needed here.
£2.8 billion in net interest income expected.
Proposed new ex Bank of Ireland CEO ideally placed to re-examine allegations that an alleged ‘fraud’ at Ulster Bank led to the mistreatment of business customers in N Ireland, as promised to City Watchdog.

No beer ? IMO should keep the smaller breweries open. Wychwood (home to Hobgoblin) next to go, excuse being 'By making use of the break clause in our lease for Wychwood Brewery, we can consolidate our brewing network to achieve greater efficiency and productivity, supporting ongoing investment in our people and business'. So efficient there is not enough beer to go around. Do not believe Hobgoblin brewed elsewhere will taste the same.
Damn, hot weather means there is not a single empty table in pub garden, and inside is rammed (not Youngs). To make matters worse, they have sold out of Pedigree on pump, thank god there are some bottles. Told by bar staff that scorching September, which is expected to continue over weekend, has ignited the blue touch paper and saved summer after wet August. Excellent news...
Cables idea for dealing with Looney. Probably the only good idea he ever had. Surprised it has not been mentioned in connection with NWG miscreants ...
'when my husband ended our marriage' is a self-help book by Jacqueline Hurst who was married to u know who. Woman scorned must be enjoying this scenario, until the c*ck tax dries up ...
Deutsche interest ...
Deutsche Bank believes BT’s consumer division is in decent shape.
Plenty of ideas around convergence (?), customer experience and new products as well as cost opportunities via digital.
Frees up Kirkby to focus 'on more pressing projects' such as regulatory and employee relations, B2B, IT upgrades and headcount reduction.
Hold 145p target.
Wonder what price the other Deutsche has in mind, or has BT been left on shelf ?
