The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I'm pleased to hear developments towards the FOAK. One thing to keep in mind is that timelines will inevitably be hard to predict because UK is currently undergoing slot of strain with issues in construction supplies nationally at the moment. With everything from Covid to the Suez Canal to Brexit it is probably at its most unpredictable for a very long time.
So anyone to come and say they know when the day is would just be guessing. I'm sure we are all looking forward to more updates and I for one am pleased with this and our recent confirmation of the Glasgow site.
GLA and have a nice day!
Your a funny guy Charlie. I think ultimately you can't win can you? People usually kick off when the company doesn't open the placing opportunity up to P.I's like us. When they don't it's rage. But here they have as it is essential I imagine for the growth of the company as they move forward with their very promising pipeline. Yet, you still get people trying to talk carp about it even though they have acknowledged the opportunity for PI's and not just institutions and mates etc. Regardless the company is looking good. Boom boom baby.
Aye it's back to as normal now. How strange!
Can anyone else see a 57% drop what on earth just happened?
??* Was a thumbs up! Should of guessed it wouldn't show. Ach well.
Nice work Dr A, I thoroughly enjoy these. Hopefully as work begins in June we will see more informative snippets straight from PHE in this was and also through the newsletter. Good job ??
It's a shame to see the content on this board decline so rapidly and I imagine an easy set up for someone to compare that to the share price and blah blah.
Share prices go up and down and that is the way of things. We are sitting in pence and pence means nothing really. I am invested to see this go through to pounds and that day will come when one of the products hit clinical no doubt. It's pretty dire to see the chat on here so will sign out like the rest who have sense and leave it to people to go on and on. Patience is the game. I've got loads of it. GLA see you when it's time
Sorry if this has already been posted!
Meant to the other day. Thought it was interesting considering our recent affiliation with Ricardo.

I somewhat agree and find that it is not what i wanted in the short term but i was always going to hold this for at least 5 years. I remind myself you don't collaborate with big pharma for no reason and therefore the multiple product candidates that are being worked on are ones of great substance. A continued trial of patience here and i guess part of me is pleased to get shares so cheaply again. How i see it is the company surely are working in a manner that will benefit the company and subsequently its shareholders in the long term. So if the value is there as id like to assume that it is, it will come. Until then observe my other investments and find something else to do. No point getting upset as no one forced me to buy anything, i made the choice and did it on my own. Crack on. Im still happy with this investment and believe it will come good. Just patience.
So I guess Monday will be the day if we are recieving a TR1 that's when we shall hear then?
Also does anybody think whoever recently bought the other 20mill odd that were consumed after the CLN two weeks ago or so is one of the same? Was that not just under the 3% margin that required a TR1? Part of me wonders if that is the same and if so they will be in excess of 5+%.
This is total speculation and just me being curious wondering other people think. Any thoughts?
DD
I suspected this too as he did speak about this during the interview podcast he did. I had looked forward to an agreement earlier in the negotiations but as he made clear buy outs of products this early never represent the true value of the product and can be easily exploited by larger companies to get fantastic products for far cheaper prices. It's during phase II and clinical trials we see the true value emerge. Vlad is aware of the treatments he is making probably safe to say better than any of us. Short term this is disappointing for investors. Long term as the company ways seemed to be it will be in the best interests. Fasten your seat belts folks. GLA
Can only be a good thing.

Nice try Ed you talk so much nonsense. Similar to the stuff you preach on AFC I've noticed recently. I'm up for debate however but PHE won't be paying the full amount for their whole build as you seem to be insinuating. They have raised the necessary funds. The will be doing in line with Peel as is the arrangmenet. Not long now and we will know either way. Once the final site approvals have been met.
Have a good weekend folks
Ah yes I know the one. Thanks Tilly. It was an encouraging video. I thought I'd missed a newer one for a moment.
All good things come to those who wait. Looking forward to this one.

Hi Tilly,
Is the video you mention a new one?
Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of it?
Gracias

Interesting article about Drax power moving into the biomass game in North Yorkshire with a Collab with a Canadian biomass company. After them recently declaring they are stopping activity and now moving across to this. It's bringing more eyes towards alternative forms of power I guess or just highlighting companies involved in such process as the public eye grows more. Can only be good for companies such as EQT since they are so versatile with feedstock, efficiency and their conscious reduction of their environmental impact.
Italy has announced the start of their first hydrogen valley which can only mean good things for the wider development of countries utilising hydrogen on a day to day. Is Roudi Baroudi still on the advisory panel for PHE?
I know he specialised in the Mediterranean area amongst other places. Would be nice to find ourselves in Italy at some point.
The 'Everthing About Hydrogen' podcast was a neat listen. Following the presentation the other day things look good. Q2 I guess is when things are really going to move forward with announcements and finalisations of some of the financial closes on projects and next steps to construction. If anyone hasn't listened or seen the recent presentation and are upset with today's brief reiteration of the current position you should definitely go and check them out. Dr A posted a great recording of the presentation the other day and Spotify or the apple podcast link there will have the podcast. Things are happening and once ready will be announced. Looks good. I can't wait to see the news Q2.
