New Delhi [India], January 4 (ANI): The Ministry of Coal on Saturday stated that the coal sector has achieves highest ever production and dispatch in Calendar Year 2024.

According to the Coal Ministry coal production reached an all-time high of 1,039.59 million tonnes (MT) (provisional) in 2024, marking a significant 7.28 per cent growth compared to the previous year's total of 969.07 MT.

This growth reflects the Ministry's strategic efforts to enhance domestic coal availability and meet growing energy demands, the ministry stated in a release.

So unless I’ve read this wrong the updated voter list should be complete by early March,that’s a lot sooner than I anticipated so good progress if it sticks to the plan……..

The election commission published the draft list of voters of Bangladesh at a press conference at the commission’s headquarters in Dhaka on Thursday morning.

As per the list, there are 123,683,512 voters in the country and, among them, 183,3352 are newly-registered voters. The commission will begin modification of the draft list on January 20. The final list of voters will be published on March 2.

Election Commissioner Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah announced the release of the draft voter list on Thursday at the Nirbachan Bhaban..

Following the finalisation of the updated voter list, the EC led by AMM Nasir Uddin has also decided to go door-to-door to collect registration information in order to include other voters who have been excluded or left off the list.
