Just out of curiosity how many shares in AIM & the FTSE are down from say two / three years ago. From my quick review there are an awful lot of shares down. Anyone might think a world wide crisis like a pandemic and/or large conflict might have an affect.

What would be really interesting is those who are saying it is going no where show us where they have put there money and made gains? Now that i would be interested in rather than throw away comments.

All those telling other people to sell up, what has it got to you? If you don't like the share move on, but you wont for two reasons. One your life is that dull this is your only way to get human interaction. Two, you want people to sell so you can buy. If you dont like the share get a life an go talk about a share you like. Be positive not negative.

Tygra, Just so i can take your comments seriously please advise how many companies you have sold and for what value. I assume you are talking from a expert view rather than just a throw away comment.

What sensible person would spend there time in a negative way on something they don't believe in. That's it a troll or someone with a agenda.

Tim please explain how the west forces Russia to start this war. I find it somewhat tiresome when people say the west do this and that bud forget what the likes of China and Russia do. There was no threat to Russia from Ukraine apart from they want their land back. West and east all play games but Russia started the war end of.

herbie, just out of curiosity as you seem very good at making comments about other peoples statements. did you foresee covid pandemic, russia-ukraine conflict & global inflation. i can give you a list of numerous companies who have been affected by the above events and which in turn has had a negative impact on share price and what they had hoped to achieve. that does not say that the companies where badly run or lying but that events out of their control made conditions non favourable. so unless you can prove that these people who placed there judgement in the company knew of the above events where going to happen before the rest of the world you are frankly talking out of your ****. as i always say if you don't like a company don't a company (for what ever reason) don't invest in it and if you have already and you have changed your mind pull out. but just stop your whining. if you followed other people with put doing your own research then you are a fool!

Onthebwagon, you need to give your head a shake and just admit Russia should nto be there end of and therefore all blame lays at their door. Database I really struggle to understand why you are taking the stance you do. no one is wining in this war not Russia or Ukraine. If anything Russia military might has taken a bashing and be sown to be below par.
Do you acknowledge Ukraine and its people? as you come across as if the country and its people dont matter.

you really need to to do more research. For example take a look at this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TivUZ7GtzHs and also recent news where the workers were breaking out of the factories where they were forced to stay with the Chinese government blaming covid.

With regards to the Nord Stream pipe ask this question, what is the purpose of any European friendly country blowing the pipe up if they have moved away from Russian gas/oil. It would suit Russia to say it had been blown up by the west/Ukraine's as it allows them to tell there people look we are being attacked even thou the pipe was not being used so it had not advantage to west friendly nations to do this.

Russia started this and there is no justification for it.

Mizman, based on the profits made by Aramaco i don't think your logic stacks up. That said oil is not just used for fuel is it so even with hydrogen and electric vehicles oil will still be required to make everyday products. So just remember folks oil is not just for cars...

From what I'm reading today I am not sure what to make of some of these people. If west is so bad you can always move east to Russia, China for example if they have it all sorted. Is the west prefect, hell no but a lot of people to try to get to the west so what does that say? There is starting to get a lot of unrest in China as the people are realising they are being treated poorly often having to work and live in factory's that employ them. The fact China is having some conflicts with India over land in the Himalayas, then with Taiwan and Philippines. Are these acts of a peaceful country or a country trying to grab territory... Russia just like USA has played with other countries democracy so no winners there. Most of the waste in the world these days is made in China so if there were that good why don't they help solve that issue of producing what is often poor quality goods. There is a reason why most technology comes from the west. And just be careful, SVB has gone to the wall but there are a lot of Chinese companies who have had problems like Evergrande. Things like that happen.

If only wars were run by number of soldiers... More people needs more weapons, ammunition, food, logistics, money etc etc, this is not a war game you play on your phone. Also if Putin sends in actual soldiers to fight he leaves himself exposed to being taken out by his own people.

Scottydogg you fail to realise that EUA have been growing the portfolio so what was for sale is a growing entity. Fact is people do not do DD and stay around if it is not something of interest. To me it feels like pieces of the bigger picture need to fall in to place and the current climate may not be aiding this. The BOD do not want to give this away cheaply is my opinion which i to do not want.

Wow PaulB is that all you got. As it stands and unless advised otherwise the BOD are carrying out the strategy as previously advised. Covid and the war have chucked in curve balls that need to be factored in. Do i wish this had been all sorted by now yes, but all things considered it is easy to see why we are where we are. With regards to share price there are a a magnitude of shares who's share price is way below there peak. You invested for a reason but if you don't believe you can sell. Shares are not guaranteed to make money are they. You take your pick and then times tells if it was a wise decision. I still believe in my investment and so happy to let this play out. If you are not sell up if you think it will bomb.

He posts things from RNS's and adds his view that is clear to see. You on the other hand just make throw away comments. Please do the forum a favour and do a bit of research.
