Just received my £1 a share offer in the post, cannot see getting anything more so might as well take it (only £7k down!) .It appears if they acquire 90% the offer is compulsory,if not they will delist and i will not be able to sell my shares or accept the offer. So it is over and out from me after 7years of pain from this gold mine GLA

Goodbye Maple, dont blame you, we were never going to recoup our loses. Think i will stick around for the end game what ever that might be! Gut feeling is they will continue to issue bad news and buy us out next year .Have enjoyed your posts over the years ,knowing others in the same boat as me has helped the pain. Good luck to you and Plymouth Arglye

Even with a 15% gain i would have to invest about £30k to just get my money back, so that is not happening!. If it was possible for some of us to block this offer i would be up for that ,but i somehow doubt that is an option.
I have long held the view that a Mr MNG buy out was on the cards ,even if some thought i was talking nonsense(Cavendish) Although i am taking a heavy loss (been in since the days of Aureus) i will be glad to see the end game as this mine has gone from one disaster to another.Agree with you Tiger about Liberia, this country could find itself in another civil war soon but with the price of gold over 1500 and rising, Mr MNG offer of a £1 seems low.
So "SIGNIFICANT ORE DILUTION" is the reason for downward spiral this year!! ,funny that as they kept telling us the mines were going strong. Never trusted this lot
How about you giving us shareholders an explanation on why this share price is where it is today. We seem to get nothing but good news on the mines performances and futures yet the SP drops like a stone. Your views would be most welcome.
MickyBee,wish i knew but many reasons given on here eg 75% owner, possible M&A,s, equipment costs, underground mining costs, or perhaps small investors are going to be bought out soon, who knows!
