while i don't totally disagree with you,instead of skimming of profits would Mr Gunel not be better off trying to raise the share price. With the amount of shares he holds every 1p rise represents about �40m profit

if they do have any intentions of taking this private,us selling at 2p would suit them. my understanding is they would have to buy the remainder at a premium (say x2 or x3). But then again i could be talking out my backside

suspect you will be proved right, but after over 4years in this goldmine i've become very pessimistic.Will be interesting to see how they rake off the estimated annual profit of $40m though.Like many on here we have long written our losses off (mine �10k) and are just staying to see the end game

OK maybe not "out there" but 5.32 billion shares exist, Mr Gunal owns all but 1.3 billion of these. So how is this for an idea, he buys these for say 7p (�90 million approx. if my maths is correct) and takes it private.Considering the profit is estimated at New Liberty to be $198m (about �130m) there's a few bob to be made , what do you think Mr Gunal. 7p would still mean a loss for me but hey any port in a storm!!

So you started in the 80's 'The Thatcher Years' when she sold it all and you could'nt go wrong.This share proves what a minefield the stock market is IF this share doubles in price some of us will be lucky to break even.The question is do you trust the new owners to look after our interests

you said you have 3.3m shares @ 2.4p so thats about £80 grand invested here how can you afford those rose tinted specs!

I,m no expert but only 23 trades all last week (just 2 on Fri.) might have something to do with it
