Pantheon Resources PLC (AIM:PANR) said it remains “laser-focused” on reaching final investment decisions (FID) for its oil fields under development in Alaska within five years.
Jay Cheatham, chief executive, said the aim was for the FID on Ahpun by the end of 2025 and FID on Kodiak by the end of 2028 and “to achieve sustainable market recognition of $5-$10 per barrel of 1P/1C recoverable resources".
Cheatham added the year to end 30 June 2023 had seen “immense progress and achievement” for Pantheon.
Data gathered and technical work done in 2023 underpins his confidence in the commerciality of the company's projects, he added.
“In fact, only last week we were the successful bidder for over 66,000 highly strategic acres, contiguous to the west and east of our existing leases.“
Pantheon’s Ahpun and Kodiak fields are located on state land on the Alaska North Slope where, following the issue of the new leases, it will have a 100% working interest in around 259,000 acres.
Losses for the year were US$1.5 million (US$13.9 million) with cash and equivalents currently (13 December) of US$7.8 million and a further US$4.1 million to be received in January.
They must know that the longer they leave their short in place the more it will cost them? Mysterious or what?
All looking good.

Proactive research analyst Manos Halicioglu speaks to Thomas Warner from Proactive after publishing a research note on North Slope of Alaska-focused oil & gas company Pantheon Resources PLC (AIM:PANR, OTCQX:PTHRF), which has 100% working interest in 153,000 highly prospective acres with potential for multi billion barrels of oil recoverable.
Halicioglu says Pantheon Resources has been making headlines with its Kodiak and Ahpun oil projects, covering an impressive 160,000 acres and boasting an estimated 1.481 billion barrels of recoverable oil.
The company's 100% working interest and commitment to sustainable development are key factors in their strategic growth trajectory. They aim for a market value of $5-10 per barrel by 2028, supported by a substantial $25 billion phased investment.
Halicioglu notes an anticipated 337% return, translating to an impressive annual rate of around 34% in the competitive oil and gas sector. Pantheon's consistent revenue growth and robust asset base, coupled with strategic investments and financial acumen, position them strongly in the $5.3 trillion global oil and gas exploration and production market.
However, risks such as liquidity challenges and broader market dynamics like regulatory changes and global economic factors were also discussed. Despite these concerns, Halicioglu says Pantheon's solid financial performance and market position somewhat mitigate these risks.
Key to Halicioglu's valuation is the absolute valuation approach, considering intrinsic value for long-term investment analysis. This method offers a comprehensive view of Pantheon's worth, considering its assets, market position, and growth prospects, providing a clear picture for potential investors. For more details, Halicioglu's full report is accessible via a link provided in the interview.

Well this certainly doesn't look like a drop driven by smart money exiting. The volume and size of trades doesn't justify it.
Aim really is a cesspit, no wonder London markets are failing badly

Tangodog..."mms know what is coming"
I suggest they don't always know but they can reason a rise is imminent. The mms can't lose no matter what the outcome. If it keeps falling it matters not to the mms BUT can ruin investors?
"They know what is coming" is a belief that has already cost me thousands?
Typos sorry

In 5years since 2018 i have never made a penny on any trade in UFO. At one stage i literally ran out of cash to keep averaging down and resorted to selling good stocks to keep buying. Good money after bad, or as they say "Never catch a falling knife
Wents...i agree, "doesn't add up"
Pi's are fed up with the 5 year drag so will be converted to trading at every opportunity...including me.
I averaged down at least 15times and lost on every one, now i want some of my losses back
Linda holds an MBA in Finance from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and a PhD (honoris causa) in Business from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a member of the [Atlanta] Federal Reserve Board CFO Panel, the International Women's Forum, and the Governing Body of the CFO Executive Summit. Linda will chair Pantheon's Finance, Audit & Risk Committee.
David Hobbs, Executive Chairman of Pantheon Resources, said: "We are delighted to welcome Linda to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director and as Audit Committee Chair. She brings a deep expertise in finance and qualifies as a Financial Expert for regulatory purposes as part of our transition programme, leading to a US listing in 2025.
"Her appointment marks another important step - strengthening our governance - in our strategy to deliver sustainable market recognition of $5-$10 per barrel of recoverable resources by 2028. Satisfying the requirement for at least two Independent Non-Executive Directors removes another barrier to attracting institutional investors onto the Company's share register."
Commenting on her appointment, Linda Havard said: "I am excited to join Pantheon's Board of Directors and look forward to working with the Board and Executive team to bring the Company's significant Alaska North Slope resources to production. I am eager to actively contributing to the Company's achieving a US listing as Chair of the Audit Committee of the Board."
Typos sorry...
THAT IS WHY we must try to get them off the chat forum or banned.
They are interferring with YOUR money and it must STOP now. Trolls are the scourge of AIM, ffs.
I know thru years of experience that they DO affect how people invest...especially new investmrnts in...they just turn away and those remaining are forced to keep averaging down or keep losing money, especially if you haven't funds to keep averaging down?

Kever...ffs, why are you SO gleeful that another poster is losing so much. I am not a troll but i am also down a lot...will you be criticising me. At least JS is putting his cash to good use, the sp will recover unless the trolls make him sell out underwater...which is what trolls aim to do anyway.
