Mining rights and application.
Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for this licence you must:
ensure you and your employees who will likely be involved in your intended activities hold relevant technical qualifications
have sufficient technical advice and financial resources.
For these reasons i believe UFO will seek a joint venture JV with sufficuent financial backing to present to the Department of Mines as a pre-requisite to obtaining licences at Hancòck, Munni-Munni and Elizabeth Hill.
Lack of sufficient finance and JV backing could imo be what has been holding us back. I am assuming (had assumed) that one of the majors in the region or Anglo American is still willing to back Alien Metals. There are dozens of operators with smelting process plants in W.Australia as a potential JV. Fortescue, Bhp, Rio Tinto had in the past shown interest especially after EH closed in 2000 due to collapsing silver prices.
I feel fairly confiddent that when we get the licence it will be accompanied by a JV contract. Hancòck first then soon after EH. IMO
IT is why i have waited for so long?
....AND funding is underway...
Too many naysayers will be caught on the hop when licence news artived. Which must be not far away now?
Just triggered stop losses
RE: JVToday 13:38
Typo wrong word...
Anyone ever thought that a licence may be granted with the confirmation of a jv contract?

Anyone ever thought that a licence may be granted with the advent of a jv contract?
Alen will do deals with other smelters in the region
Newmont Telfer or Fortescue come to mind. ANGLO AMERICAN jv imminent this year. There are dozens of options once we have licences ..Rio Tinto or BHP are already eyeing our potential?
18p to 20p mayy prompt many into action. At the moment no one is prepared to accept that we are about to move back towards a PENNY. FOMO

Only my opinion of course but i am so certain licences will be awarded by the early Q2.
Been re-loading up at these comical lows. Gla

The right to one vote. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury. The total voting rights figure of 944,218,427 may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
David Hobbs, Executive Chairman, said: "Having paid the last two quarterly convertible bond repayments in cash rather than stock, funded by private placements to supportive long term shareholders, we have decided to satisfy the March 2024 quarterly instalment in shares, allowing us to apply the funds freed up towards the acquisition of 66,240 new acres awarded and announced in December 2023, payment of which is estimated to occur in late Q2 or Q3 of this year. As already announced, the new acres are covered by our proprietary 3D seismic, add enormous resource potential, and are contiguous and adjacent to Pantheon's existing acreage and will be covered in Netherland Sewell's ongoing work on Kodiak and Ahpun. It was important to secure these extensions to our existing Kodiak and Ahpun projects both to protect project timelines to the extent possible and to utilise the competitive advantage of that proprietary seismic before the scheduled public release of key tranches of the seismic data."
