I want to stop posting but i might ad well clear upthe mystery of my nickname. Our family history goes back through a long long line of Nevilles to ANNE NEVILLE through her cousins.
Anne was the wife of Richard 3rd..historically he had many tag on names ie Crookback, Hunchback, Richard the T'ird and my own variation.....dickie3times. No fun meant. He was hacked to pieces at Bosworth not just for his cruelty but the fear he may come back from the dead.

HairyzFuttret....i was NOT making fun of WHITEKITE. I was judt tesponding to hid reply yo me. Which made me laugh. It was a misundetstanding. I think you are making too much of this and although i have apologised, i really do object to being compared to AB.
I must set the record straight. There is much fun about my typos and i don't mind but you see i have impaired sight and often i have to re check all my typing.

ColnePoint..i agree many mines in Australia and Tasmania were worked in the 1870's and abandoned when the 'easy' gold was found close to thr surface. Now modern techniques show gold is abundant. Ggp had acquired a dozen old licences cheaply that had previously been worked by pic/shovel and scrape over 140 yrs ago.
Not much heavy drilling was used back then as the licence plots were so remote Also in many projects water was often scarce and horses was the only transport. Many that staked their claims never could find a way back. Some of those licences were up for grabs a few decades ago and are now being reworked.
