ralph2010, sorry I forgot to thank you for your understanding, as you said we can't all be achedemics, be a sad old world. Cheers, Dick.
Spelling wasn't my best subject, I use to get the stick regularly at secondry modern, maths and sience are prefered, also set race and lap records in the UK plus coule you rebuild a ships engine better than the manufacturer, also paid 75 pence in the pound when I started working for myself at 27, have you Bigred ever achieved anything other than critisice, Sorry for the spelling mistakes, I don't use google to spell something and never a calculater to do maths! Cheers Dick, hopefully we will meet some time?
If HBR did pull out because of that reason it will not stand them in good stead with HMG who protect the rights of the Falkland Island people. They should surcome to Blackmail, we HAVE a peasful solution after many lives lost, the only reason Argantina have taken an interest is because of the FIG assets, if they had any sence they would work together and land the oil in Argantina, a cheaper solution I would think, Just my outlook on the situation, Regards, Dick.
PS My letter has been sent to the board of RKH.
According to to reports on national media world wide, if the eco-terrorists are storing information from their apps on such systems as "the cloud" then they are ceating more Co2 then all the transport systems put together, massive industrial units with extremely large servers using lots of electricity, running 365 days per annum, what happened to eco freindly photo albums and documents on paper?
If RKH run out of money, the board need to find a job, I doubt they will get one as they are incompetent!
Good morning Buzz, because it is the most expensive way to produce power, without massive tax payer grants they would never have been built? They are still a long way from the efficiency of gas and coal powered plants, 65 t0 85% and better with more modern units?
I see all of Europe are falling out over sovereign law and the so called European law. Poland and France to leave the Eropean Community? Cheers, Dick
Dear all, I would also like to beg to differ, everyone is worried that if we have the usual cold winter the people will die, the government have admitted that because of the rise in gas the cap could rise by another substantial ammount, Boris has also given the go ahead for the power stations up here to start burning coal again, Drax with the scrubbers was actually a lot cleaner then the bio-mass which they are using now, it also created a bi-product Gipsum which meant we didn;t have to mine it anymore, a green saving there. The citizens of the UK remember the Falklands conflict very well, if the government don't consider offering UK export cridit finance, subject to a clean scheme for extraction then they could lose many votes. All in mine and mine only considered opinion, the Hedge Funds are pouring into O&G and making very healthy returns as reported on this site. Cheers, Dick H
The board of RKH are not doing themselves any good by proving to be intransigent as well as, dare I say it, incompetent. They should have arranged any meeting in the midlands to allow a many share holders as possible to attend? Cheers, Dick
Just a very poor excuse, they could have rented a large idustrial unit/hall more central, and and practised social distancing with masks as so many other comanies have? Cheers, Dick
Hi Ralph, I agree, each volcanic eruption negates all the tax spent on trying to lower Co2.
I don't know about electric cars ever being cheap, if it wasn't for big subsidies on so called renewables then the powered turned out just would not be affordable. We must not forget the fuel duty and the VAT on the total which is one of the biggest income streams for the government! Will they have to "road tax" electric vehicles to replace the loss of fuel taxes? Probably £10,000/annum at current levels, Cheers, Dick
150 thousand years ago there was a mile of ice on the north sea, 9,000 years ago we still had glaciers in europe, the planet has warmed and frozen over billions of years, no oil industry to blame, just the object which WILL dictate what weather we have, the Sun. If it wasn't for Co2 we could not have evolved. the longest and widest river in the world with a canyon bigger than the grand canyon is still under a mile of ice on Greenland, just accept climate change and adapt.
Even Sir David Attenborough has started to state that the population explosion is the main problem the planet faces, but in a growth society if the population doesn't grow where does the growth rally come from? Cheers, Dick
First of all, I would like to thank Glenrothes for his sterling efforts in trying to get this board to be more transparent.
I received my letter the day most people did, found the text most condscending and felt like the board consider themselves up there with the man himself!
I would have liked them to put the number which they received, that would have stopped them using the childish terminology?
We have to keep the pressure on? A letter to the board telling them we will overcome, heard that somewhere just can't remember! Cheers, Dick
Glen, I have just sent my mail to RKH as set out by yourself, at present my holding is 201,424. Lets all hope we achieve the figure which you have indicated. Cheers, Dick
Glen, some time ago I enquired of Interactive Investors if my the shares which I have in my account, bought and paid for could be used for a purpose such as what you have outlined and the gave a catagorical no. I will be back in the office at the weekend and should have the letter from ii after speaking with them and will scan and copy the actual share certificate which my company holds, I think the total shares in RKH is around 225,000 which I will confirm next Tuesday, they can then be commited to the cause.
I fully agree with this, and I would throw my " two penneth" in which is above 200,000, if we band together the group of investors can change this cavalier attitude of the board, you cannot run a company without dialogue, with ALL stake holders. Cheers
