I totally agree cowboy Steve… I don’t think the governments understand the dynamics of the oil and gas industry over the last seven years and how it already has been massively reducing capex .,,this will lead to a bigger squeeze as you said..!! Not a clever way to help the economy with massively high oil and gas prices..!! This is all showboating for the politically correct..!! Yes it needs to happen but it’s something that will take a couple of decades to come through with any great effect with diversification of energy..!!

I feel your pain Daltry I got very burnt on Excite… in fact complete loss of a lot of money at least with Hur there in a good chance for the future and recovery if the management play right which I feel they will… and we discover new oil… it will take time but I feel it’s got a lot going for it…And obviously the oil price has a lot to do with this…. What with the lack of investment over the last seven or eight years In the worst oil and gas recession in history this can only be positive for supporting higher oil prices going forward…

The city often get it wrong either well ahead of the curve or well behind the curve time will tell… With oil at this level and predicted to go higher debt will be paid off in the not so distant future… and yes exploration will be required but being debt free and still producing very healthy amounts of oil I don’t think it will be that difficult to raise finance…. There are not many small oil companies in that position most of them have extremes amount of debt..!! And yes it is a penny stock high risk but high reward!! We’ve had the full this is the recovery stage..maybe should buy back in now?

We will see 80/100 dollar oil this year I’ve been talking about this for the last couple of years the 60% reduction in Capex from the industry over the last serval years as the biggest oil and gas recession in modern history took hold has lead to a perfect storm as the world economies pick up and inventories massively down and no quick taps being turned back on….Yes the Saudis and the Russians could increase production but do they want to at the moment or would they rather oil at $80-$100 before adding supply… The rest of the world has little capacity to increase short term… This has worked brilliantly for us and I believe will be our saving grace and bring back value, exploration and further production… good luck and well done all long and strong..!!:)
