Panamabob - the clear message is they are expecting big things from this drill. He (RP) will be fully briefed on progress. He’s not breaking any rules by reposting but it’s a confident expectation.

They wouldn’t waste time and money drilling deeper if they had just hit dust and plain rock.

Of course the cores will need to go for assaying to establish grades but they will know from the visuals broadly what they are seeing. That said there may not be any visible gold in the cores but that does not mean they do not contain gold.

The assays are the only way to confirm grade.

If correct I’m very happy with this. Drilling deep into the Dome, carefully and methodically as they had stipulated.

I am certain they have drilled well beyond the planned 550m where it was stated the top of the Dome starts.

And the above is the evidence. Why would they do this is they found absolutely nothing up to the planned depth of the hole.

It is simply about whether Red Setter is a Dome containing a large gold mineralised system. That’s all.

That’s what this is about. Nothing to do with what has happened before it’s about the drill bit.

I believe the expert geologists are correct and this is a very very large gold mineralised system in that Dome.

I certainly think they are drilling the second hole now. Roughly eleven days in. Pretty sure we will get a drilling update next week. Perhaps sooner.

Personally I am very confident we will find something down there. A lot of expertise working on it

A little frustrating that when we rise we lose a lot of it very easily yet when it was dropping there were very few bounces. It tended to just stick at the bottom. Guess it’s just a reflection of the uncertainty and trader activity.

Would be nice if we could hold a rise though.

Over in GGP land the SP is languishing over 100p down from highs. Whilst I do not wish the majority of decent GGP’ers any malice whatsoever I can’t help feeling this is sweet karma for the MH Troll who has gone very quiet since the big drop over there.

A lot of those who bailed out at a lower price.. and at a higher price.. Will be scrambling back aboard for the ride.

No one wants to miss out do they?

I agree. I think we hit the bottom today. Finally a full completion of a classic Fibonacci retrace. I think we will now see more buyers than sellers as all the profit takers and weak hands have finally bailed. If we see upward momentum start to rebuild then FOMO will begin to kick in again. The market will begin to anticipate another drilling update. Could come at any time but personally I think it will be next week. In any case excitement should begin to build.

I think some are assuming that since we have had a succession of down days this means the drill has failed. In reality it is simply trading momentum and sentiment. The market flipped following the drilling announcement and went risk off. Traders and risk averse investors subsequently sold out. Does this mean they knew something we don’t? Emphatically NO.

Of course they didn’t. The drilling continues and there’s clearly no leak and I don’t expect there to be.

Yes I wonder who you’d be more likely to put your confidence and faith in. Expert Geophysics and their extensive analysis and research or ‘Banksy’ and his infantile whining and whinging.
