Overall a positive writeup I think, for similar reasons as called out on this message board

I'm still not sure though why the industry dumped these (TRIG, UKW etc.) with such Gusto? any thoughts on the reasoning? NAV has dropped but we're sitting well below NAV now

Agree with the reasoning (and I am hanging in there for the same reasons) but ultimately if the market doesn't agree we'll stay at these levels or drop further. I think one of the reasons this sector did so well 5+ years ago (in time of low rates) was institutions buying for their income/dividend funds where they searched for 5% annual yield and diversified from straight equities to these trusts. I'm not sure why same institutions aren't now chasing the 8%+ yields here, or are they happy with bonds and cash that can pay them 3-4% risk free and satisfy their investors that they still provide something of a yield.

Greencore have apparently upped their offer for bakkavor, Ii hope this isn't hubris to try and run a much larger company to the detriment of the shareholders

Usually beneficial to the target company (Bakkavor) and not to the bidder (Greencore)...

I wonder if they were expecting more profit (rather than just break even) and in my case was hoping for more of an update o the US. they must have some customers there by now, would love to hear how it's going...

Finally sold out here for the CGT loss after almost 10 years of holding and an 88% loss. I learnt my lesson not to follow recommendations from the investors chronicle blindly! this was my great hopeful share for african growth, agriculture, feeding the world etc but i think debt and macro issues have conspired against zambeef. Good luck to those still in, I hope it comes right.

I personally saw positives in the RNS update, the dividend seems to be covered for next year (and up year on year) and the yield is looking very attractive. As usual I think we need some big institutions to come in and start pushing up the share price.

Great, now if everyone on this board can just go out and get a new one i'll watch for the sales uptick!

One of the risks with this share is that their very premise - the opening up of portability / consolidation of pensions - means that it is also easy for other providers to do this, ones perhaps with more brand reputation and better balance sheets. My hope is that PensionBee build up enough AUM and customers that it makes more sense for one of the bigger players scoops them up to consolidate assets than build out the technology themselves.

One thing I hoped for with KETL but don't think has ever materialised is a boost in sales following Covid. I would have thought with everyone working from home or furloughed they would have used their home kettles a lot more shortening the time before they would need to be replaced and spurring increased sales? I hold onto the hope that bump is still coming down the line!

With a bid it depends what price you are in at! I bought a lot of this at 140- 150p (although the average has come down with re-invested divi's) so has a way to go before I am properly in the blue.
