SP now reflecting the 9% divi and I think even higher next year if the coal price averages anything above $150. They have already banked the buffer they announced. Personally a share buyback would work rather than a divi.

Ment to type 2016 but had 2008 in head for something else. Bought a load at 258.

Up £120k on this company just a money machine. Also had Anglo shares up 100% as I worked for DeBeers and bought shares in 2008 at peanuts, as I thought either the world eithrr go bust or recover. Always buy at the lowest point as either the world is ****ed or not....

Normally when a stock goes x dividend its price drops by around the value of the dividend. Given we have to pay a WHT of at least 10% and possible 20%, what do people think about to selling the day before and re buy back after?
I know no-one has a crystal ball, so just a thought

Richards bay LVH22, LVJ22 are down by around 20%

The price of LVh22 March Richards bay coal went up 43% today to 430. If they can get it to market it will be incredible profits.

It's 670.20 on HL. I see there is 1 trade at 673.40 but says its unknown if buy or sell.

If Russia hit back against sanctions and being bloked from Swift they may reduce gas to Europe. Europe would then have to import and burn more coal, thereby raising the price. Although with the collapse of the Ruble they may not want to escalate and cut off gas.

Surley coal is bought in advance for delivery later. So the future prices are important if you want coal delivered in April/May etc. Aren't they are the prices you will pay.

Glacial periods last tens of thousands of years. Temperatures are much colder, and ice covers more of the planet.

On the other hand, interglacial periods last only a few thousand years and the climate conditions are similar to those on Earth today. We are in an interglacial period right now. It began at the end of the last glacial period, about 10,000 years ago.

Bought £20k @ 467. Didn't fall for the earlier tree shake, which unfortunately have in the past.
