I suggest your follow energy prices. I've been shouting about Coal prices for weeks.

As I said previously, study the coal, gas price, or politics. The SP went down when the coal price slumped, now up as winter and Europe is struggling with energy.

I think the SP may have bottomed out or soo will, unless the Europe winter is much warmer than projected. Time to buy.

SP following Coal Proce down. I know people are saying it's vastly undervalued ( which in a normal companies dividend and prospects it would be) but the big boys with their vast AI computers are not buying. So I can only follow the coal / gas/ oil price to get a guidance.

I did say the coal price was currently tanking, so sold some last week. Will buy soke more when real winter forces energy prices up.

In the early days on this board there were lots of people accused of ramping or de-ramping. I apologise as I was engaged in another meeting when I wrote that message. I didn't have time to study Peabody. I'm always suspicious of people posting re other companies. I will do research before getting my finger on the keyboard in future.

I've been in TGA since I got free shares from my Anglo holding and have bought consistently since then.

I mainly follow the coal/ gas / oil price to determine my holding. I will alsoinclude other companies with coal interests.

That pod ast was from 11th October... if you had followed its advice then you would be massively down.

Edward...I was £122k up at the peak on paper, now only £75k up and thats selling a lot over the last few days as the coal price went south.. Please forgive me for alerting others to follow the Coal and gas price as a forward indicator.

Dropped another 2% since I first posted today about the coal price drop 4.5% down today so far!! , after the coal price dropped 10% yesterday.

If this is a 'screaming buy' why is the SP still dropping and the big boys not buying? Do you think that they don't have computer algorithms that take everything into account minute by minute?
It's annoying I can't see the SA exchange trades.

Edward. As you say the profit at $200 is great but at $300 (just last month) would be 50% more. This has to affect the dividend payable and therefore the SP a great deal.

I agree the SP, for whatever reason, doesn't reflect the enormous dividends payable. However when the price of coal falls by 30% in a few weeks its bound to affect the SP.

Perhaps when winter really bites it will recover, along with gas.
