The week before my monthly top up the price drops by a couple of pence.

The day before its due to go through there is an RNS or a good rise

Monthly top up goes through at around the 30 day high

Added bonus in that he's claiming badly down when Hl shows the last trade was 6% up on the overnight price.

The trouble that we have is that there is usually a displayed spread of over a penny. The actual spread is usually less than half of that, but it certainly acts as a brake for some people.
