Thanks everyone for your Birthday wishes - have good weekends all

I’m not learning from loosing money - I’m learning from people on here - good and bad - I’m learning of risks of investment - I’m learning how to control and embrace emotion - I’m learning about investing psychology - I’m learning about human psychology - I’m learning about dilution - I’m learning about marketing - I’m learning about geology - about mining - about finance - I could go on - for me making money is hugely important but learning along the way makes me a better person and more knowledgable investor - which can only be a good thing right ?

Earthling - just wanted to say - I love your commitment and unwavering faith in Solg - you defend your opinion at all times and often stand in the face of a bombardment of abuse - good on you mate I admire you always taking the stand to say your piece (I want this share to do well for all investors on here including myself but for you too) I have more doubts than you but good on you my friend.

I’m 46 in 1 hrs - no renditions of happy birthday required - £1 SP by the time I’m 50 ? - Any takers ;-) see I’m learning cos a yr back I’d have bet big (and indeed did) that we’d see a £1 by Xmas 2017 !! All a learning curve

Great posts today SH - as always honest and thought provoking - and pulling no punches - cheers mate I very much appreciate your input and spend a lot of time thinking through your ‘opinions’ - agree with Rich. I’ve said it before - the board is a better place for your input. Satan in the main ive also enjoyed many of your posts over the past why the need to battle on here with others is beyond me - your an intellectual poster (disagreement is healthy - picking holes in each other in a form of point scoring (or so it seems) is not)) just my thoughts. Bad week / month / yr ! - let’s hope things turn for the better in due course.

Oh and Satan - I agree with you - words do matter. Your far more of a wordsmith than me - I’m a simple chap but post without machelavian intent.

Your right Satan - I did say good for him - I’m not saying it’s right or proper or even that advice from NM has even been given - and I do appreciate the potential negative aspect if this has happened - but I for one would love open communication with NM - (wouldn’t you ?) so if Hammy has - then good for him.

Satan - I didn’t say I was ‘ok’ with it - I very much doubt it happened - but it’s not beyond the realms of possibility, I don’t know Hammy so can’t really question the validity. It certainly would not be good for a CEO to be giving ‘buy’ advice - which an average down statement implies.

Would agree with that Thomas - that would certainly be a way to play this.

Thomas you provide a lot of analysis of what not to do - also sharing some guidance on how you would maybe approach things in a different way could be considered slightly more constructive

Hammy - it’s highly irregular for a board member to give investment advice in their own company - ie ‘average down’ - so if you did receive communication from NM giving advice it’s probably best you keep it to yourself - cos A) many here will question it actually happened B) it would be akin to a type of insider trading = not good for you or NM. - That said if you do have open communication with NM then good for you mate

Thanks SH for your post of 11.32 & 11.34 - your very close with many of your observations and thoughts regarding my position here, which is a credit to your observations and also to your experience - yep I’m still very much learning and indeed have made mistakes here (and elsewhere) none of the mistakes I’ve made to date are in anyway terminal to my portfolio but Solg is becoming a concern - baws deep yep ! I can ride it out and will do so as I believe the value is higher than where we are at right now - time will tell- thanks for taking the time to respond and giving your view. Also thanks to all others who gave input following my post of earlier today - who shared their own experiences and current positions (THIS is by far in my humble opinion the best way for people to learn and make best use of a B.B.) - I don’t have time right now but I’ll come back with some further thoughts later.

Thanks for comments guys - I’m not selling yet and not quite in panic mode - more of a heightened concern currently - we are in a sliding down trend and have been for mths and mths - MRE update could move things forward as we hope it will - and I hope Earthling is right that it will be enough to prove grade and economics fit - but my fear is a PEA and then PFS will be the real deciding factor and they are a long way out -

Well I’ve managed to turn my best ever performing stock into my worst - my own fault for buying at many multiple incorrect points when I fact I should have been selling pretty much any point in the last 12mths - was a bad point to buy in reflection of where SP is now. I wonder if anyone at Solg towers is bothered by the performance over last 12mths - obviously they wouldn’t comment - but maybe an acknowledgement that 12mth performance in not great not good has not yet provided multiple exit points and ignoring Solg would indeed have been sensible and not perilous - NM some guidance would go a long way - update a blog - tell us the plan - do a video clip - do something

SH I believe you have rustled some feathers mate - as always a breath of fresh air - glad your back and hope you decide to take a position when time is right for you as the board is better with your contribution.

Agree waiting game - but BOD could do a little more in my opinion to keep us engaged through the wait period - why post on Twitter a video from 12mths back even North Korea only delays news by 24hrs !
