Which company did you ten bag in?
It's a private company that raised cash on a peer-2-peer platform. Bought by the market leader.
with the right 'stimulus', so who knows what's possible here?
Sadly, if that happens I think it's going to be many years down the road.
ARB does demonstrate that a company's shares can go from 3p to 103p within a matter of weeks?
Maybe, but it's in a hot sector, where as stamps are anything but that.
- I've taken a position in RAVP recently. With the yield being c12% and the possibility of 30% capital return it's a good way to play oil and covid at the same time. With high quality real world assets. Certainly not one to bet the house on. Still, if things take time I'm still getting 11% income while I wait, and I come ahead of the ordinary shareholders if things go wrong, but of course it Russia.....and there's that Invesco holding. Looks even money, downside as big as the upside. Still, in a diversified portfolio it might just work out OK. My profit from today will be going into my pension, alongside the SEIS relief, the pension contribution tax relief compounds my return. I'll be going for UK, European and US smaller companies. I'll get the extra 25% that way ;) and the chance of a further double digit return on smaller companies if it all turn out OK!
