The CEO definitely needs to be replaced as this current incumbent has not had much success in turning the Micro fortunes and shareholders value upside, this is definitely a dead duck for time being and needs something of a cold shower!

The PR from Micro is bad enough, the company has huge potential but just cannot manage contracts PR elements, boost shareholders value and share strategy, i would still say it needs to be taken over as i just feel the current management team are not good enough to take this company to next level in sales and increased profits/turnover. Time for someone to start building a stake and take it over imo.

Best option for all in light of the share price meltdown and i hope the CEO takes heed of this is a bid situation, AWS would benefit from an integrated approach to take over MICRO is my opinion, synergy is there for all to view, or a bid from an aspiring technological company to kickstart Microfocus. Something needs to happen to awaken this one IMO.

Why target BT as a threat to national security? why not denationalise all utilities companies as they are more of a threat to national security in terms of making huge profits? BT shareholders always have to suffer the consequences and there is always someone sticking their two pence worth into it at the detriment of long suffering shareholders.

BT is the giant and when chips are down due to inflation etc you will find that BT will be the mother of all telcos, cheap price at the moment in terms of what changes its made and dividends resuming, very soon i expect it to go above £2 and beyond as its potential is huge not to mention major shareholder pressure. DYOR though.

Absolute dog of a share this is! this is heading to below £2 in my opinion, besides dividend income its not going to progress as the economy in UK is in shambles even though the government paints a positive image, give another 12 months before it may start recovery at the moment its not going to make any progress in light of update

RR- debt and shares in circulation, i think this will come down before it goes up so 75p or under would be a good entry point for long term holding.

CEO at Barclays must go asap for this fiasco! does not instil confidence amongst shareholders and the level of secrecy and silence does not help, he needs to jump before it sinks [not that it will] or the bank needs to really do well to recoup and recover strongly in next set of results to overcome the deficit and pursue the outlined strategy. Need a change quickly as a starter.

Mike 1974 - Agree to disagree as your views appear to be biased and baseless to say the least unless you were part of your local management team or structure where you operate from and have facts, generically there will always be employees and managers/supervisors in any industry worldwide so not sure where your info or views deem from , for investors we need positive commercial information from RM and that's not coming through from the CEO is my opinion.

CEO carries the can! must resign asap and get confidence back in city, the way stuff is handled at Barclays is shameful to say the least with the silence, a take over by someone may be an option is my opinion.

Strong recovery expected in IT and cyber security

Some movement happening here, is it because of EX dividend date tomorrow? or is there something brewing in background..........very quiet

Absolute no justification for this drop in my opinion, its harsh and overdone! time to add more at this price.

With the Ukraine conflict and concerns about cyber security world wide one would imagine MicroFocus to be in demand, this will come good with more demands for IT security in my view, the drop is unjustifiable and can only put it down to the world events and stock market sentiments.

Massively oversold this one! years gone by and this giant needs awakening! once it breaks the £2 barrier we will see the true value irrespective of debts etc, its making money!

Its feasible that this company will be on predators list of IT companies which specialises in certain security products. Either way its a great company to be part of it and to hold a stake in it.

I think this will hit £5 this month or earlier and then move on towards £6....

Need change at CEO level full stop! the buck stops there. Shareholder revolt? or an activist shareholder is needed to through some weight about and improve shareholder value.

Microfocus needs a change at the top asap, they have taken the business as far as they can and now a change is what it needs just my view as a shareholder.

Overall on track and will deliver expected outcomes next time, attractive for takeover with plans in place for debt reduction.
