The level of technology that Microfocus offers internationally is of high standards, this is very cheap compared to the rest of the sector companies and its only matter of time that this will explode and return to its normal level obviously pending good results and no ugly surprises. The board needs to shed some good news/light on progress and opportunities. Easily move towards £5 -£6 as its done in past. Good opportunity to get into this lately whilst the SP has been languishing around £3.75..

I fear that the low SP now poses BT to be taken over cheaply by those who have build stake in company. Am sure BT would have been aware of competitors and the threats posed by others strategically. For the Shareholders a bid situation is probably a viable option.

Strange share behaviour here at Micro, does anyone know the reason for the fall? the board are very quiet and nothing happening atm, need some bullish news or get taken over by someone who can.

Microfocus needs to move out of this and focus on business and shareholder value, currently extremely vulnerable to a bid and may thats whats needed here in light of baggage being carried by the current management leadership team. A bid would probably reflect the true price of the company so maybe that's whats needed here!

this is the most boring share i have recently come across, nothing exciting on here and each day it chips away with 1% -2% either way. losing the will to watch this unexciting, boring, slow as snail share/company or maybe i am wrong and something may just happen next week! have a great weekend all on here if still awake.

This company is now a sitting duck for a predator imo, it has huge potential in IT world but unfortunately the SP and market makers are treating it differently. Massive takeover target at these prices.

On the back of China crack down on miners and benefits to North American miners, check out Hive Blockchain on TSX seems to be a good company with eco friendly plans on mining coins just my opinion.

With Amazon on board there is always the likely hood of synergy and without any facts or numbers my wild guess is that it would benefit both companies if Amazon would swallow Microfocus or a joint venture and i can see that happening. IMO. Microfocus is still a fantastic company with really good IT solutions packages internationally renowed.

This is a complete farcical situation and the selling is massively overdone, they making money, paying dividends, good order books, new FCO, outlook with Amazon is good, then why is it being downed by brokers?? obviously there is the element of buy it on cheap now or now a potential bid target for someone. A very good company unfairly treated.

My opinion and view is that both DL and Microfocus could potentially be bid targets for an aspiring large company. DL will be an excellent addition to a leading insurance group and similarly Microfocus is an internationally recognised IT company which will add value to a potential suitor in terms of synergy in IT/security. obviously each to their own and DYOR.

Noticed yesterday HIVE blockchain [Canadian] to being listed on Nasdaq, thought ARB were on same path??, Looked at HIVE and reviews appear to be good, SP has been low lately due to downward Crypto trends but certainly worth looking at HIVE imo as it has potential with the ECO friendly production in cold countries - iceland/Sweden, obviously DYOR.

Just to note that couple of large trades being shown as buys! obviously indicates someone is positive about this company ....unless otherwise which is unthinkable. Good confidence builder and heading towards £6 soon IMO.

I have always maintained that this (BT) was a sleeping giant, compared to Royal Mail and other privatised industry the value for BT in last few years has been highly underestimated by some brokers and appears to be a deliberate move to hold the SP down below £2 or so, BT in my analysis is worth a lot more then £3 minimum, and once it starts paying dividends will be on top of corporate investors. Royal Mail group SP has rocketed to almost £6 and it has no fibre optics or technology to look forward to except mails/parcels income. With BT if it can overcome few barriers and modernise has all the infrastructure and capability to be world class in Telecoms and fibre besides IT. Hugely undervalued company IMO and about time someone sees the potential of growth and value.

Mails are usually quieter in summer months historically and once summer is over its autumn and Xmas sales through catalogues and advertisements will start to come through with positive impact on volumes and profits. SP still a bit to move upwards IMO.

Massive affect it will have on airlines, IAG will no doubt retreat and will assess progress in next week with opportunity to buy more a cheaper prices.

No idea about the credibility of the DB broker forecast for BT but its farcical and not to be taken seriously as they do not run the market or the companies its their views based on their analysis , BT is a Telco giant in UK and no doubt Deutsche Telecoms in Germany will be favoured by Deutsche brokers to BT i would guess though no facts. BT has huge potential and assets to expand. Competition is here to stay and BT can withstand it as with most industries. Ignore the brokers views they don't make any sense.

Look at Royal Mail shares upto £6 almost from lows of £1.80 or so, compare this to BT, BT is a giant waiting to wake up and it seems its now waking up...this share has a huge potential and could follow in Royal Mail type of re rating, IMO BT should be minimum £3 upwards.

Triad - only 16m shares in circulation this is going to move towards £2 very quickly. Business is doing well and ahead.
