mob fees and deposits are negotiable depending on the client. Standard mob will be paid at some point after the rig has been activated so to speak and certain benchmarks are met. If things like ready to drill surveys are required then a lump sum can be charged to recover incurred costs by the drilling contractor.

Spinefx - My opinion only. I believe the partner will be paying in the order of tens of millions, and perhaps if the initial wells are successful there will be further investment taking us over 100m total investment (DW has alluded to a 2+2 type deal in past presentations). If we hit a few oily horizons producing 100 odd barrels a day we may trigger further unlocking of the potential using horizontals to multiply the recovery by 10-20x.

In the previous RNS it states that the exclusivity period relates to incurring costs associated with the drilling program. We know that permitting was ramped up (in the RNS) 2 months ago. We also know that much of the permitting was already largely in place for the likes of Charlie / Bravo etc and available on DOG website, which only needed minor amendments.

Now what other costs could we be incurring relating to a 2020 drilling program and would require 500k? more than likely related to procuring a suitable rig / crew etc

I have it on good account that to get your desired rig on the NS you must get in 4-6 months in advance, so it makes sense if we are looking to drill around February time that the ball is now rolling.

The delay in closing of the farm out deal is likely due to procuring capable rig(s) to undertake the anticipated drilling program. What partner would stump up tens of millions only to find that there is no (suitable) rig availability and the project is then delayed by 12 months?

So what happens when we inevitably haven’t heard anything by August 31st? Will the farminee have to pay to extend the exclusivity period?
