RE: Sidetrack24 Nov 2020 08:47
No brainer top up at these prices imo.
Cadeby wasn’t to be - reservoir quality not up to scratch, unfortunate but not terminal. KA is still charged with gas/condensate over a large area. No cores have been taken - hence can’t give any further information than wireline, cuttings and mud gas at this moment in time which still indicate that its hydrocarbon bearing. Sidetracking back towards original motherload where 65m column was present and commencing flow testing. Looks as tho KA pinches out towards B1 location, hence why no thicknesses of wireline zone were given as it probably isn’t great - so we are sidetracking back into the fatter end of the reservoir. Lateral wellbore will product excellent for flow rates. Malcy spoken with mgmt who are still optimistic, can’t write anything off yet. This will bag from here and the smelly swampies will be crying into their vegan cereal. Good luck all - tough times for those with sizeable investments but try to look at the play holistically and not subjectively based off this one well which has clipped the edge of the reservoir.
