I think the fact that that renewal was deemed worthy of an RNS Is what has shocked and possibly even alarmed some holders. If there were bigger and better things to inform us of, I’m sure they would’ve done it and if this is all they’ve got to show us at the moment then maybe it would have been better to just leave things with the X posts and LinkedIn updates.

Let’s see what the next update brings us !

Acknowledging that there is concern and debating such concern is precisely what these boards are for. Using your own analogy, what dimwit would think that all is well when red lights are flashing all over the place and Who thinks the answer is to ignore it and turn on those who open the floor for discussion.

Hastings74 - Indeed, it does seem to be that sales teams are not involved in renewals - after the initial contract is signed it passes over to an account manager whose job it is to ensure all runs smoothly and handles renewals.

Which brings the discussion back to the lack of new business. Spratt1982 - I’ve read through your previous posts and you were gung ho on 2nd January when you wrote regarding the results due to be posted on 9th Jan for the previous quarter: “These results will hold little interest to me, Q1 ‘24 and H1 ‘24 is where I expect the big change in revenue to be reported.“ As an investor I am sure you must be disappointed as the big change in revenue you anticipated has not been forthcoming. Surely that is the same for all of us and just because we express concern does not mean we should not invest or that we are blind to the lack of new business coming in. That said a company cannot survive for long without having the means to fund not only its every day activities, expenses and client servicing but also its growth. I’m sure we are all hoping for a steady turnaround ….

WOOKIEEMONSTER - I don’t think they are - They were over 2% higher at 17.310711% a few weeks ago …

A lot of RNS notifications are issued on their behalf as their holdings fluctuate almost weekly!

I would feel so much better about this if a £150k pa contract was NOT considered significant enough to warrant an RNS …. And it is the only contract RNS they have released in some time. So it is concerning . By contrast, This was the last on October 6, 2023 - and was, I believe, worthy of an RNS……

“ Cirata plc is pleased to announce that the Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) has renewed its existing contract for Cirata's Fusion product for a period of 12 months. The total consideration for the term is $983,010. The use case supports HCSC disaster recovery for on-premises Hadoop data moving to Microsoft Azure cloud. Fusion is a data migration product.”

Quite a difference …..

Just lodged my votes with AJBell ….. there were a few additional AGAINST votes and not just the reelection of the Chairman.

My earlier Cirata posts show that I advocated patience and belief. Still do but that doesn’t mean I think things are progressing well or are they have enough coming in. £400k OVER 3 years - not each year- doesn’t even pay his salary for 2024 …. It’s the fact that they deemed this RNS worthy by their own metric that I find quite alarming.

In a previous update CEO boldly announced b/e this year and market leader within 4 years after setting out his stall on revamped GTM strategy etc. This was followed by an admission on the last update that progress across all fronts was ‘significantly slower ‘ than had been anticipated.

I’m sure, like you and all investors here I will reevaluate my position after the next strategic update. Steady as she goes will elicit a different response to jam tomorrow.

Significant how? In UKP it’s approx £150k ish per year and if they deem that to be worthy of an RNS and have released no other award wins/renewals then surely the question must be asked what is keeping the lights on.

Like everyone on here I so want this to succeed - holders from pre suspension days are over a barrel with this as they have taken a mighty thumping and I understand that getting something back is better than nothing but they need a lot more than what is coming through ……. Patience, and an awful lot of it, will be required but the question has to be for how long.

I don’t post here very often, but I do like to check in and read all the comments.

I do believe it was an appropriate way to draw a line under the old guard and the new. The contents may well have been known but they have been reiterated and consolidated here with a reminder that there is a different captain at the helm now so hopefully a steadier course will be steered. It takes time to steady and turn around something has clunky as the good ship Capita.

Must admit the first paragraph was heavy weather….. talk about cramming it all in one sentence🙄

They had said they would only notify large/significant contract awards; this is a renewal not new business and I bet none of us think it is large at less than $200k a year. It does make me wonder what other businesses on the books 🤷

All pennies gratefully received but I am really surprised at this RNS …. ..

Think it’s being managed by the usual Peel Hunt & Jeffries combination but I tried to find additional buy in info yesterday and came up blank. My platform is AJBell & they didn’t have any further info to add beyond what was already public.

If I find out I will post here ….. I’d like to be in there - they will certainly be snapped up by one of the bigger boys in the not too distant
