Prof. Ali Jaber Nima, from the Surgery Branch at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Kufa, and Assistant Professor Dr. Israa Abdel -Al Salman, from the branch of diseases and forensic medicine in the same college, was a patent from the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control of the Ministry of Planning, on the innovation of a new target treatment for multiple types of cancer.
The innocence included the development of the SRA 737 Checkpointkinase1 inhibitor, an innovative treatment targeting non -small cell lung cancer, as well as colon and rectum cancer cells, through a mechanism based on disabling cellular checkpoints on which cancer cells depend on growth and division.
This scientific achievement represents an important step in the field of cancer research and directed molecular therapy, and reflects the pioneering role of the University of Kufa in supporting medical research with a direct therapeutic effect.
