I had a dream that HIK gives an update on advair tomoz...we shall see!

They are big shareholders, but to take over the company and make it private again would require them to put up another couple of billion £s, which I doubt they could afford.

If it goes back private, what does this do to our shares?

Egypt massively devalued its currency in Nov 2016, by un-pegging it from the US$, this has adversely affected HIK profits. So I suppose we can expect a negative Trading Statement on 17 August 2017.

Some expert on Bloomberg today said no immediate impact.

I bought in yesterday at 1611 & today at 1595. It's a good sign that this share will not close below 1600 today. Last time HIK lost FTSE 100 status the shares just flew, I'm hoping for a repeat!

It's a money pit. No income generation. This has got £2 written all over it, but a buy at that price.

Cheers Tricky, on the HL website it says Mexico, so maybe SD free after all. That 0.50% is hundreds £, so I'd rather buy extra shares with it. When PM are (maybe) crushed to the levels they were last autumn, these mining shares will be a bargain.
