IMO the dealings in BCN shares have disappointed/confused shareholders and the many negative posters on this BB have influenced shareholders/possible buyers.

Meanwhile, the Western Australian Environmental Protection Authority has this week recommended Hastings Technology Metals’ (ASX:HAS) Yangibana NdPr project for approval.
Hastings says it is on track to start construction of the project this year subject to final finance arrangements.
The company plans to produce a mixed rare earths carbonate that will be separated into individual rare earth oxides overseas.

Greenland Minerals & Energy (ASX:GGG) has a light and heavy rare earths project in Greenland.
The company is getting a lot closer to permitting and also has a big Chinese partner, Shenghe Resources — which has an 11 per cent stake.
Greenland’s Kvanefjeld project is expected to be one of the largest producers globally of key magnet metals including neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium, along with by-production of uranium and zinc, for nearly 40 years.
The company’s share price has more than doubled since the start of 2019 and has climbed 43 per cent over the past month.

I am disappointed in the performance of share price but if I was not optimistic I’d sell and find another investment. I am puzzled by the “investors” who moan as all this does is undermine share price. I am puzzled by the dealings in BCN. All the other investments have produced positive news and in my opinion any one of them could have a value in excess of market cap of KDNC. I have asked KM to advise shareholders of the value of the JVs and Greenland.
KM and DS have invested £50k of their own money and a fund associated with AF has invested £250k. Prior to this the directors holdings totalled 48m shares, they now have interests in a total of 366m shares. I consider that to be a vote of confidence.

Kiran Morzaria and Donald Strang have participated in the placing for 45,454,545 ordinary shares each. Exception Capital, a fund managed by Adrian Fairbourne (a Non-Executive Director of the Company), has participated in the Placing for 227,272,727 ordinary shares. The participation of these 3 parties constitutes a related party transaction under Rule 13 of the AIM Rules for Companies. The independent director, Andrew Suckling, having consulted the Company's Nominated Adviser, WH Ireland Limited, consider that the terms of the transaction are fair and reasonable insofar as the Company's shareholders are concerned.

I have been trying to value assets of KDNC but I can't come to any conclusion about the JVs - Yangibana and Sonora- and the investement in Greenland. Any ideas???

The lithium market is on track to healthy sustainable growth as lithium prices stabilize after months of volatility, said Tianqi Lithium (SZSE:002466) President Vivian Wu on Monday (June 10).

The leader of the Chinese lithium giant said that last year Chinese lithium spot prices decreased significantly, with new supply coming online and the transition to higher nickel cathodes being the main factors impacting prices.

“But even looking at the lowest price last year, it was a lot higher than the historical price for lithium,” Wu told reporters ahead of the Lithium Supply & Markets Conference in Santiago. “That means the new demand is solid, the industry is just taking the time to adapt itself to the new sustainable growth.”

Cautiously optimistic

The Company has engaged advisors and has had preliminary discussions with financiers, to understand
the debt carrying parameters of the project. Release of the PFS update now provides a platform for
the Company to advance discussions with potential finance providers and/or JV partners. On the basis
of the robust market outlook for lithium products and preliminary work already undertaken in relation
to financing, the Company considers that there is a reasonable basis that the development of the
Cinovec project can be successfully funded.
