IG has advised me of 1 for 20 offer.

Irelands valued ay 44p in January and in an earlier note "if we unconstrained our risk rating for Amapa and Cinovec our fair value would rise to 165p".

The second stage of investment is for a further 7% of PBA for a consideration of US$3.5 million. This second stage investment was conditional on several material preconditions, which have now been satisfied. Cadence will now vest its next 7% which will be funded from its recent equity raise.

I went to investment show in May 2019 shortly after deal with Amapa was announced and I had the opportunity to talk with KM who was there representing KDNC. Whenever I have talked with KM, sometimes on phone other times at AGMs, he has always been careful not to disclose any inside information but he certainly exuded confidence about Amapa. In 2019 he must have thought it was a sprint not a marathon and I believe next week we shall be congratulating him on finishing,

EVB Well spotted

I was surprised and initially disappointed when I saw yesterday’s RNS re placing, On second thoughts I realised that the BOD would not/could not approve a rights issue unless they were confident that the Court would approve the Amapa deal. The BOD must also think that the potential in EMH must outweigh the cost of dilution to existing shareholders and the BOD are shareholders.

My follow up has gone as well

There won't be a placing certainly not before Amapa is sealed and not at a price below directors'options.

Why is anybody selling shares?
The deal for Amapa is done- just needs a rubber stamp. EMH becomes more valuable. Sonora and Yangibana are waiting in the wings. W H Ireland have valued at 44p with a potential value of 165p.

Am I correct in thinking that this confirms Amapa is proceeding to a conclusion?

I emailed a query to Kiran on Jan 25th and this is an extract from his reply..

. As mentioned, before we have reached a settlement agreement with the banks which was executed at the end of last year. This claim will not interfere with the commercial court process in Brazil to vest our 20 percent.
