Razzel.. really happy you and Joe are still in this :) I think this may fall back a little as oil / gas in general is on a downer, however it just goes to prove that this share can move fast even in a depressed market.. moreover it held up pretty well over the past few weeks considering other players had big falls ...:)

I am working on the hypothesis that the recent rise and falls has churned most people looking for quick profit out. As we know this is not a heavy free float stock and I think the poster 'predator' made a good point some time ago about the 6p base which, although the support was strongest around 5.5p proved his/her point.

So much happening with this company and the fact they secure a licence and hedge exploration against the success of Trinidad is a smart move in the RNS. Likewise with so much debate about climate change and the need for innovation in carbon sequestration Pred are potentially onto a winner in more ways than one.... I really like the CEO and the BOD seem to have a clear strategy to build a huge company not overplaying it …really happy today, its been a crap few months but this is a long term keeper for me for sure...

Joe....Good news and I hope you find yourself in the blue, thankfully I am now after a long wait and lots of averaging down but ill cling on tight to my shares now I think :)

forgot to say that pre-production the MCAP of SXX is based on the value the market currently assigns to the comoany based on the potential risk / reward etc etc....

Jimmy the Mcap s only a guide to how the market values a company at any given point in time based on the excellent explanation below by Barna. all things being equal at the point of production the Mcap of SXX will be many multiples of Greggs if for example no more shares were issued and the SP rose as we hope / expect...

No idea.... my best guess atm is that cautious buyers are testing the water to see if Spreadex are out but that is a guess

... the SP traded on the range of 20-25p for the past year.... the partners fall out it spiked and fell back to trading range and now they potentially make up, so what does that do for the prospect NAV / fundamentals??

Curious to know if I have missed something on the actual resource side of things here...

Jippyjazz - TBH I have absolutely no idea either...the story hasn't changed on the resource prospects that I can see over the past two months. It spiked on the legal action as there was potentially a bigger slice of the pie to be had, then fell back. Today is has risen on the update of a chance of negotiated settlement BUT what has actually changed with the prospects in Cambray itself since early October when the SP was 20p.... ??

I know, totally confused now.....It doesn't help that there are releasing the results on the same day as the parliament vote.... nervous at that prospect...

late reported to look like a buy when the bid dropped...I know I bought at 3.22 just before it and mine is shown as a sell.. Spreadex nearly out I suspect..GLA

stuart, I held that share for two years and I know the company and also what GH has achieved in that time; ie. - not a lot... promises and more promises but nothing more. If I recall they were funded for the drilling programme you outline but since that time the drilling programme has increased on promises, on geo work in other regions (fire tower etc etc). Yes they have negotiated with drillers for shares issue in lieu of payment etc, but this is a risky investment and one that has been bought at a "significant premium" over the past few weeks when the initial results from this licence area , and its potential were known months ago when the SP was circa 110..

jeepers why have BOD invested in a punt on a typical AIM pump and dump share....??? I am lost for words but although I owned GGP myself and made a tidy sum in the past I question the wisdom of this investment as GGP will need an immediate buy out/JV on any further finds or have to raise funds in this market …..not happy

Yes I know that but they need funds to keep the day to day ship afloat and it is more than £53k a year.... not de-ramping just looking at the finances GLA

I have a small holding here and live nearby but to provide some balance we need to consider the short term funding requirements prior to the release of half year results this week.. I anticipate that they will need a small fund raise soon looking at their cash balances from fully year and in this market it could be at a big discount... I am wary of getting carried away here but the project itself has legs for sure...
